    just finished episode 3 of apocolypse and man for a 6 ep OVA it was pretty good was in goosebumps that last episode Every time another OYW side story comes out I expect to be dissapointed but this one kicked ass too.

    0080 is a nice 6 ep series that has some amazing characters and mechs with a prety good plot 08th MS team was extremly well animated but lacking in any plot 0083 was the same as above AMAZING animation and fast paced but I hated the characters and wanted everyone to die:S Zeta is outstanding for the beginning sorta loses its edge midway then picks in back uop 3/4 towards the end and Turn A is AMAZING but if you want big robot battle dont bother its all about the character development and the plot.

I haven't read this one yet 7th Steel ball run with Johnny Joestar. Haven't read yet either. This is the most current JoJo story. Apparently sorta like a alturnate universe sorta deal or something with no real connection to old jojo Insane huh:P

    I D/L all of fanscanned jojo till volume 60ish last summer read it all over the summer and wow I've never seen such....overly odd powers/characters/monsters/plots in any shonen manga ever... i'm on the mafia part and who knew a fight between a magical fishing hook and and guy who can turn anything into zippers would be so intense I also own the jojo PS1 game SOOOO amazing for a PS1 fighting game... with about 20 selectable characters with unique stands which impress me even more by having 4 characters on the screen at the same time... on the PS1 and with all the cheesy voice overs and even the loading screens are entertaining *thinks of Jotaro's grandfather JoJo oh my god pictures* and with each of the 20 characters having their own semi-unique arcade mode makes it quite the anime video game adaption. haven't seen the anime but will probobly watch when I have the time

    Well I mean in the show there is like one sex scene... and I mean I think it does add to the show cause well thats the main characer and seeing how he grows *never seen in the anime* from when him and lara bang until the tae mission is astounding. So I mean yeah... I think that sex scene and all his horny antics with kishimoto were actually plot driven... and fan service:P

    I too have become addicted to monster I began watching it after it had been out for a good 6 weeks watched all 6 episodes and have been waiting for every episode since. One of the most amazing things that I've seen from this is it keeps EXACTLY to the manga which most anime tend to drift away and do their own things or make up random stuff to make more episodes etc. Another of *forgot creaters name* works that I've enjoyed immensly has been 20th century boys. Not to similar to monster more alike to stephen king's IT in the horror / kids memories then grown ups doing stuff etc story elements. I'd check that out too if monster appeals to you.

    I adore gantz from the moment I first read it couldn't stop I read from the beginning to like chapter 180 in a day or two. The authors style is by far one of the most... unque I've seen he takes a picture of a area and like manga's it up... then puts the characters in. And how fluid the manga is is absolutly insane there are no confusing fights because every single movement is seen. But this makes it a problem for when you get caught up since each chapter is 15-20 pages the fluidness will make it seem like 2 seconds :S. But as for the plot... well its rather left as a mystery the entire thing so far and is more about the characters growths through these life and death situations. Although I must say this is not for the weak stomached... the gore level is similar to Berserk if not more graphic at times.

    My theory on the burried tri-pods sorta takes the whole they had a dead planet and needed ours to survive theories. Ya know when the dinosaurs roamed the earth maybe their planet was ok and just nowish it went to hell and they realized they needed earth. So I mean aside from the whole why didn't we notice them when we dug subways and crap I dunno:P.

    ok... before I like die of glee... ummm the last like 5 seconds of the commercial they advertise this like super ultra mega box set of what looks to be SRW alpha SRW alpha Gaiden SRW alpha 3 it looks like and two books... ummm are alpha and alpha gaiden like being put out for the ps2 then? so like my modded PS2 can play them and I can scrap my old busted up PS1?

    Yeah ok but you guys areacting like the entire score got redone... isn't it JUST the openings? I mean honestly As much as I loved the 2nd opening I sure as hell wouldn't put down $150+ specifically for the opening and ending music... I mean yeah its poor marketing on bandai's behalf but seriously when animeigo released the original macross wasn't there some different ending for the first episode or something that they didn't include OMFG!!! I should just sell all my DVD's now Another example is MAcross plus vol 4 OMG they changed the music IMO this is just as bad if not worse because well the music played a vital point in the show itself and added to the scenes while these are just openings. You know its not like they pulled a robotech and added in their own different music for every single scene... and i'm sure if I looked around I would see most of us with our M+ vol 4 still on our shelves and for those of you who had the $$$ to waste on the R2 version of Vol 4 why not do the same for Z? Honestly yes I agree the openings kicked ass and it sucks they wont be on the DVDs but In my case I bought the show for the show not the openings and its not like the rest of the soundtrack is redone just the openings.... honestly compared to MSG TV this is utterly amazing comparitivly. So why were you guys going to buy it in the first place when you could just watch the fansubs... *is completly lost*
