Whew, This thread Grew, Just finished moving from FL to TN. Have not been on in a while and my pc broke during the move so i have to use the pc at a library. Graham I think the Problem Thats causing The Bicep Breakage (Like the one illistraited in the Pics) is being caused by the tension at the elbow. I actually cut down the spring in my 0a when I fixed the break. There is less stress put at that section when trying to bend the elbow with the shorter spring. And I didn't even have to glue the arm back together. With the spring literally cut in half the arm can still hold a pose and hold the weight of the gun pod with no problems, but i'm not sure if it would hold something "Of what i would guess the weight of reactive armor" would be

HEh Well Actually I never tightened any screw on my 0a I was trying to to bend the lower arm at the elbow when it flew off. I started looking through the posts here and saw some of us were having trouble with loos shoulders. My 0A had loose shoulders too but that never bothered me before, but i decided I should check them out. I took off the outher halves of the shoulder armor and there were cracks that winded around the inner shoulder. Mind you I never wonce tried to take the arm off at the ball socket I removed them at the under side of the back plate so robot arm and the swiveling arm were in one peice. No brute force on any part of the 0a. I Really think It might be a good idea if yamato decides to use p.o.m for all of the upper arm parts that act as "bones" for their future releases. I wish I had a digital camera to take some pics. I also took of my 0s' shoulder armor and ther were stress marks in the upper arms also. They are in the area Under the circular pegs the outer shoulder armor rotates on.
  3. Thanks for all the hard work graham my 19 is comming in a few days and just having my 0a's arm come off just above the elbow today, i need to know WHAT MATERIAL IS THE UPPER ARMS OF THE YF-19 MADE OF I MUST KNOW after lossing the garlands arm and 0a's arm which are my last two Yamato purchases. I'm freaking out that in 3 months my 19 going to look like the one armed man Please tell me P.O.M please.

Just thought to put this up so this wont happen to anybody else. Today the left arm broke off at the bicep cover, I was shocked considering this was my first time transforming the 0a since Sept, during which it was in fighter mode on a display stand. I was able to fix it by taking apart the arm so please remove the screw on the bicep cover and lossen the screw on the forarm just enough so it comes off the end of the arm. If you doo see a crack put super glue or epoxy to fill the crack. I decided to inspect the right arm to see if there was anything going on with it and it was also cracked. I had to glue the bicep cover to the left arm because the joint snapped into 3 different peices. I think the 0s does not have this problem the bicep covers are glued to the arm so it must reinforce the arms.
  5. The instructions are just like what you would see in a bandai mg kit, there are alot of parts though but luckly they were designed to be idiot proof If you a armored core fan I would recommend that you get at least one of every core type
  6. Saw them at hlj in the beginning of Nov. I have been trying to find a review on these figures. I was interested in getting vol one, but was wondering how good a figure these ACs are.
  7. Man, i wish i read this thread before i bought my garland, darn thing broke within 24 hours and most of the time it was standing in my display case, I just transformed the thing acouple of times and the and the arm fell off i ripped both arms apart and found that the ends of the sholder were too thin and should not be made of abs, the stress of transforming crushed the upper ends of the sholder. A easy fix would be to make the part out of P.O.M. I was able to put them back together and tried to make them stronger but and now the sholders dont sit flush against the front wheel in cycle mode very unhappy there goes 145.00 smakers
  8. He guys i was wondering if the tv type had the same mold as the vf-1a dyrl release or is it a updated mold like that of the strike valkyrie
  9. Were these two variable fighters given any offical name like the vf-1 Valkyire or vf-19 Excalibur. I heard somewhere( not sure where) that the Zero was the Phoenix?? Did the sv-51 even get a name??
  10. I got the f-22 on a interesting note the bay doors are mounted on hinges sothey can be in the open or closed position and the missle rack lowers from a push of a button on the 22's back its a nice peice goes well with the air command f-117
  11. humm with the vf-o and vb-6 being 1/100 i wonder if all future scales will be 1/100 ..... all of S.H.E's kits were 1/100 and this new sculpter seems to like working in 1/100 man a army of 1/100 variable fighters
  12. thank i also heard you had to swap out a stomach peice is that the crotch peice or the section above the crotch peice
