Especially painting plastic with such a high gloss to it. Im going to take apart the 19p and give it a clear flat coat of paint before i change anything but that would be awesome scheme. After doing the p and f yamato really should consider releasing a master file vf-19f.

Okay I'm start a new thread try to find out how many of us are getting the 19 p to customize it. I plan on leaving off the speakers. Also i been toying with the idea of a new paint scheme. I cant decide between doing yf-19 markings, trying to do the vfx2 style or do something with the existin g red trim pattern. I would also like to get the same effect on the canopy like the vf-1 and vf-11b or tint it like the f-16 or f-22 canopy . My hobby shops only have transparent red blue green or colors that wouldn't work. So if you got any ideas or comments post away

What's the likely hood that yamato may get a M3 license to get more vf-4 and the other variable fighters from the game most of the pics I've seen of Max's blue paint job don't look that bad but i do admit the vf-4 is too blue

With yamato getting the macross digital missions license for the vf_4 i hope maybe we would see a release of the paint job in that game or vfx2

Argh just spent the money i was saving on the 19p for a max 22 for 150 shipped and a vf-1a cf with 6 of the series 1 blind figures for 145 shipped man this hobby is expensive

Did the vf-1a cf suffer from the hinge issue

When you expand the gerwalk joint near the wing root joint on the lower half of the upper thigh i see a black peice there if you see a cavity on your's thats where it goes i think if you remove the screw on the inside of the upper thigh you will get to the area to reinstall the part

Quick question to anybody who has the 19s does the diecast back section still have the notch that would sit ontop of the canards in battaloid mode

I dont think paint would stick well to the gloss plastic and stay. Besides basara in a green tee and speaker gunpod and the shoulder. Speakers put me off to cusomizing the kai besides hope fully the p will come with removeable sound system ,gu-15 and a extra pilot in normal fight gear i would drop the cash to buy 2of them .

Ok guys i know the 19s is supposed to be optimized space but to me 19's should have canards. I have 2 1/60 yf-19 so i was toying with the idea to take the extra set and drill some holes in the 19s and put them in . Has anyone else attemted this mod
