Oh, they could have gone many many different ways. Even having them slimmer and more blended into the body would've been nice even if they sit on top, instead of two lumpy candy bars on a plane.Also I would destroy all my other planes to get a 1/60 vf-19ACTIVE..... :-(

Yeah, the packs on the -25 looked streamlined and integrated. These just look like they're sitting on the plane, it looks off.

I like that a couple of them don't have decals; I'm not a fan of them. Presumably in-universe also it's a stylistic choice by their pilots.

I had two QC issues. One of the tail fins tends to come off when I rotate it, and one of the shoulder clips was broken out of the box. Luckily that swing joint is really stiff and so stays in place without the clip.

I got so pissed at the V1 VF-25 with armor parts that I threw the whole thing very hard at a dumpster, whereupon it exploded. No regrets.

So the other side of the multipurpose container is a what now? A remote charger for the drone things? Don't remember seeing what it did in the show.

I noticed in a couple episodes when this thing is flying in fighter mode, the gold highlights are hidden and then dramatically appear. What's that about? I couldn't tell if that was supposed to be significant somehow.

Yeah, I mean, so it can point or shoot up, or whatever. Like jenius said. I'm wondering if it's just a limitation of the toy or if it's designed that way a la Kawamori. I don't really care either way, just curious.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if this thing's arms rotate all the way around? I mean, I know the toy's arms don't, but I was wondering if there are line arts or sketches or specs that show it.

Well that's fine, but I am. I guess I wouldn't be if the valks and toys *never* had them, but they always had them until the -30 and after, which seems kinda sloppy.

Same deal with VF-31 as with the -30: no visible forward thrust mechanism in Gerwalk mode, nor any obvious maneuvering verniers, that every preceding Valkyrie had. Are these ignored details on animation model/toys, or is there some new in-universe tech?

Hmm, this thing doesn't seem to have any verniers either (which are present in all over Valks also). How does it maneuver in space?

Yep, first episode of Frontier I think, Alto coasts forward in gerwalk mode for a while using those thrusters after he rescues Ranka. Damn, I really like the -30 but this is gonna bother me, haha. I'm silly like that I guess.
