“Delimiter mode” isn’t connected to him ejecting the arms and legs of the thing. I had suspicions this was the case and asked for corroboration. He purged the limbs because they were busted to all hell, but delimiter mode is really just overriding the software controls that prevent the fighter from accelerating to human goo.

What do you mean by “cascades” in this sense?
-
Curious that we haven’t seen its gunpods.

In honor of YF-21 Bandai being announced, a question: Was it conclusively stated that the arm/leg ejection functionality of the YF-21 are part of the "delimiter mode"? It seems odd to eject huge amounts of control surfaces and fuel to get higher performance. I always figured the ejection was to rid the fighter of severely damaged dead weight which would no doubt unbalance the fighter, and the delimiter mode was a separate software control that let the pilot override safety standards.

Yeah I'm not a fan of that lump either. For me Mirage's is best head. I wish I had waited for her valk release instead of getting Messer's, as I only wanted one copy of -31.

change.org New work beyond Flash Back 2012 on 「change.org」! !

This is entertaining... But no. -
No, and, Mommar gave a use case up there. It would be good to keep all the sales day insanity in a quick-moving discord chat and the threads here focused on the actual product information, for example, so we don't have to sift through 500 pages of vendor-caused angst. It's a less formal, more conversational medium. I'm 41 btw, so... Whatever.

It's really very simple. About as hard as using this forum.

Yeah, actually that same piece on mine was broken right out of the box. But there was enough tension in the shoulder joints to hold it in place regardless so it didn't bother me too much.
-
Thanks Seto. Another one: do you know if the VF-4's shoulders can rotate in-universe, or are its arm movements actually severely limited compared to other fighters, like its toy representation?

Is there anything written on the circumstantial advantages of using the gun pod in-hand vs. on the turret and vice versa, for the VF-31 series? Why have both options and not just one or the other like most other valks?

I'm the opposite actually, the 19F wing type is one of my favs, more than the 29 or the 19A.

Has this thing tightened up at all the loose wings present in the -19ADVANCE due to the high speed gimmick?

A good updated yf-21 ( from whoever) is my holy grail.
-
The ECA possibly causing the valk to become more padding squishy or deformed is certainly an idea I hadn't considered. Interesting. This reminds me of how the yf-21 moves it's wings.

So this is a question for the materials engineers... Even with the "energy converting armor" and super scifi metal, in battroid mode, wouldn't the pointy spiky bits like the control surfaces on the valkyries come under ridiculous torsion stresses in anything resembling hand to hand combat or being pushed up against a wall or something?

I agree, it looks like a bit of a mess, but more importantly it seems like a nightmare for the toy joints. Or maybe it needs a bunch of those separate braces we all know and love.

What are the runes attached to? Hair? Or are they a part of some sort of head tentacle hidden by hair?

Seriously, I’m on my fourth abortive attempt. One of these days though, I’ll finish it!

I would kill for a Nothung DX!

I think the point is that, at least the fighter development aspect is not as implausible as you think it is.

Yeah I mean it's fine, but not at the expense of floppy wings, which neither Arcadia nor Bandai seemed to able to deal with
