    That's what I'm starting to feel too. I'm not necessarily a "kill em all" type, but could someone at least you know, have a mechanical failure, crash land, or....shudder...transform.... I'm starting to think that Kawamori might have a big surprise for us regarding the other modes? Otherwise I'm a bit baffled about their absence 9 episodes deep into the series.

    Hit the 24 hour mark so spoiler are off. I'm liking Kaname and Freyja more and more as the series goes on. And as much as I dislike Bogue, I actually want the smug young Knights to get shot down first. At least Bogue gets humilliated every episode. I'm hoping for something serious to occur to up the ante. The whole "the wind may blow here" when they scanned the ruins was pretty ominous so I'm guessing something will happen there soon.

    OMG, so many characters returned in this episode. There is so much momentum in the series right now, were you can kind of see the direction the picture is gonna take, but are still unsure about it will play out in detail. Enjoying myself like a little kid in Disneyland with this story. Very good point. I agree with you on this. But I think that maybe her "goodness" will be preserved when her combined army lands on Westeros and she has to choose whether to get revenge for her family and fight the 7 Kingdoms or the oncoming White Walkers. And she'd probably do the latter. There's a good chance many a house would bend their knee to her without putting up a fight anyway with the way things are going in Westeros.

    I think Mikumo will not be an android, but have some sort of more immediate connection to the Protoculture than other humanoids. It's been hinted at quite extensively.

    I've been hearing from some who are far more versed in Japanese than I am, that GG really takes a lot of liberties with their subs. Been reading the same here. I hope we don't get misled on some significant plot points.

    You think so? I actually appreciate the grim look of Yara (and basically every inhabitant of those islands). It feels rather authentic and a great counterweight to the look and feel of female characters in other parts of Westeros. Speaking of the Greyjoy's, while I knew that they didn't bring Pilou Asbæk in just to play a tiny role in proceedings, I didn't expect Euron to have such an ambitious plan. Transporting Daenery's army and aiding in taking Westeros is quite the plan. I did laugh out loud at the prospect of him proposing to the Khaleesi though. That will end well.

    I believe it's been 24 hours since release now so I'm writing spoiler free. Yeah, that's one of the most intriguing bits from the episode. I wonder what kind of story there's with Hayato dad and if there isn't a tie in with the colonization of Windermere and it's independence war. Or maybe he's just Isamu's love child Very predictable but then you were surprised that they didn't do the capture story over 2 episodes? Which is it Roy?

    If that's how we're doing it then it's Misa, Ishtar, Lucy McMillan, Sivil (close with Sally), Sara and Sheryl (soft spot for Grace though) for me then Not yet taken favorites for Delta yet. I like Mirage's character design and think Kaname is the most relatable of the idol group.

    Thanks for the podcast guys (missing Renato's semisober musings). I appreciate you confirming that Mikumo does go full Engrish in this episode. The nugget about Makina being a descendant of the head mechanic in Zero is pretty cool. As far as I can remember, he wasn't much of a looker so she must have picked up some fine Zentran genes along the way.

    MisaForever is the worst adulterer in western Macross fandom. Watch him drop Mirage in 2022 when the new Macross series has some insanely hot female Zolan pilot/singer.

    I'm sure Mikumo will have a huge reveal episode at some point that will make a lot of peeps forgive her. I must admit that at first I thought Reina and Makina were just a bone for certain demographics, but they've grown on me as has the sensible cute one-san Kaname.

    Speaking of Kon, I've just finished reading the manga that he worked on together with Mamoru Oshii called Seraphim. They never got to finish it, but it's a fantastic, amazing read.

    I don't think we'll ever get an anime original show with more than 25 episodes in a single run ever again. Too many financial risks involved if it tanks. The one plus one cour is getting more and more popular. That way production committees can minimize their losses.

    Finally was able to hear one of your podcasts in it's entirety. Good job guys, thanks. I'm surprised to hear from you that there's early indications that this might be as popular as Frontier was. I guess it'll all be revealed when that first BD goes on sale. The bit about Patrick Stewart lifting the little baby made me spit out my beverage in laughter.

    But would they be able to tell? It is my understanding that the Stark sword (huge one) was melted down and they made a couple of different swords out of that, one given to the king and one to Jaime. Did Jaime tell Brienne about the origin of the sword? A couple of tearful reunions between siblings. Jon and Sansa meeting up was great to see considering all she's been through. Littlefinger is a SOB, but he's one I enjoy every time he's on screen unlike Ramsay who's just repulsive. When Ramsay dies (inevitable now considering he's gonna get hit from both sides and the Knights of the Vale are a very competent lot I believe) the celebration on Twitter will eclipse that of Joffrey's demise.
