Haruhiko's designs are what got me into anime. They are so classic. Having said that, I think Risa is pretty good. But she still has to distinguish herself from other artists.

And I bet that whatever Kawamori comes up with in 2012 for the 30th anniversary will feel so different from all the previous Macross that many of us won't like it. Or maybe love it to death?
