  1. I can live with separate LEDs there only like 2-5 bucks on Ebay. But the shoulders look out of proportion. If its not a floppy mess and it wont have that ridiculous locking mechanism I can live with it. I will wait for reviews tho. Where are the other frakken gundams from 00 especially Gundam Dynames and Cherudim Gundam
  2. The Fleet Personally in those nerdy what if's I think the blimp could take them all down. 360 missile, laser spread throughout the whole ship. And one hot pirate captain!
  3. Yeah thats right it doesnt   My fellow country-man kicking what seems to be a larger mass of MEAT! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZEx2FRrb2A&feature=related
  4. teehee Never delt with HS is it a reputable site. Im rather getting tired of getting customed to death by HLJ and Scott pretending like he cares. Any reviews from members here about their service. Speed of shipment, Customer service etc?
  5. wow nice So if this is the DX why is it in 1/100 scale??
  6. SOooooooo Takara is now making Tranpla  Looks ok
  7. that's ok Agent 1 thinks MASSIVE MUSCLE MASS=Kicking ass ability. Which IS in fact WRONG. In university I was on the Carleton U Rowing Team. I got special access to the heavy weight room that the football muscle bound meatheads had. I was 145lbs and my max bench was 325Lbs 15 reps, where some meatheads could not believe I was able to push. Mass does not equal strength. In HS I took Judo, Grecco Roman, shurijun kenkoken (i think I have the name right?- I weighed in at 170 at 5'6) and body building. When I had a school fight with buddy (stupid disagreement over a girl)he weighed approx. 110LBS and 5 foot and I know he was a big time student in one the best schools in KungFu at the time. Ill be honest, he kicked my ass. I thought I would mangle him with my strength and I could put him in a choke hold or a throw position, the little bastard was so quick and hard to get a hold off that he cornered me with about 10-15 shots to my chest and that hurt like a son a bitch and knocked the wind out of me. After the fight I had a whole new respect for the KungFu art. We are still friends and in the clubbing days I was happy he had my back in case something started. So NO, Bruce would still kill someone with rules removed. So cant compare. His movies were not as scripted as J.Chang's, even tho Chang was/is in great shape and probably could kick all of our asses. For those who are in any of the martial arts, there is never a moment where you are thinking about a move/counter move. It happens naturally. A guy who studies over years, it becomes natural in a fight which is disable as fast as possible to reduce risk of injury. In the ring its completely different. You are parring something that Bruce came up with very good techniques for. In the ring you can see in some of the ground work that the guy is thinking which hold to go with for submission. I think that's why GSP, AS are so good. They don't do a lot of thinking. It happens naturally.
  8. If the Dragon was in the Octagon he would literally kill every fighter! Kung-Fu is not used in the ring. I have trained and sparred with real Kung-fu artists and I received a fracture on my forearm with just a glancing blow. There are some moves that can kill you and that is why you really need to toughen up in the art. Ring fighting and street fighting are two separate combat styles. That is one of the dumbest questions asked. Its like comparing apples and oranges. The guy I used to spar with once told me, when he was a slave to a rich family back in china if you are in a bar fight you kill one guy and the rest back off. When I met him i was in my mid 20s and Dept manager at staples. "Jimmy" was our warehouse clerk. When I asked him to get a MFS unit he would climb a 14 cage like you see in the movies. When we sparred and he started training me hewas careful not to hurt me but I still got the fracture. For every offensive move he had 3 counters for, it was simply amazing. If you want to see real fighting, on occasion if you know the right people go to china town and street fights can be found with money being tossed around exactly like you see in the movies. The point is you cant ask how Bruce would do in a ring. Without gloves and rules, I doubt that any fighter would last a round with him. He is just that good. BTW - Brucey did have a lot of ground work too with some great submission holds
  9. ahem Finding Nemo All the Jaws Movies All the Piranha movies Devil Fish A sharks Tale Moby Dick, ok technically not a fish The little mermaid The incredible Mr.Limpet The octopus sucking megatrons face in ROTF Then you can go into the myrid of specials ie River Monsters etc AND its a hobby. just saying....You could take a shoe and apply it to anything science fiction.
  10. I cant believe for 250 dollars they could not fill in that gap with some detail I think I can expect more Metal for 250 bucks. Probably wont sell well on the 2nd market as the metal content is pretty thin, reminds me of the Max-Factory Dragonar where it barely had any metal and therefore did not sell well. Don't get me wrong I like the Andromeda but I think this should have been priced at 120 US. I would have preferred to get a MG of this where I can do all the wiring. I'm glad i didn't buy the SOC Yamato. I am now very happy with my BOP Yamato. Also I thought the Andromeda had retractable wings. The electronics are soso. On mine they don't activate very well or not at all. Again for a getting a toy with its biggest selling feature that doesn't work is again a big knock on getting this. On the one time it did fire the cannons, it barely lit up in a bright room. The piping either sucks or there is some awesome camera work in action. Maybe mine is just a bum model. For Capital ships in the Leiji Matsumoto design line you cant go wrong with Aoshima. Affordable and the whole bloody thing is metal. I like that since its pretty much a stationary object that you cant pose. The second best is the BOP Yamato. You have small details that you can showcase and very nice features that actually WORK!
  11. Got mine today and Im not impressed with it as I thought I would be. Comments to follow the pics Metal Parts The rear booster nozzle Since people complained about the soft antennas on the BOP Yamato I dont like this hard ones, brush up against it and I can see this breaking. Very Fragile
  12. This man revolutionized Martial Arts and Martial Arts movies. If it wasnt for him we would not enjoy all the KungFu movies of today
  13. what does this thread have to do with Anime or Science Fiction. The mods on this site perplex me???? Anyhoo He and others in that generation didnt look like freaks like BB do now
  14. That is the best news I have heard in regards to the MG Wing Series. I love the Epyon. I hope they make the Tallgesse III! My latest build.
  15. I did that once with one of my rich buddies. It was fun letting it go to the limit. But it was funny when he had a baby seat in the back too
  16. The faster you drive the faster you get a ticket. The fastest car on the road always gets the trap on the highways here. As of late M3s, Audi's, Porches have all be clocked over 150K posted speed limit. You get your car taken away and a 3000 fine. if your over 50 Km posted limit. I dont understand all those guys that need alllllll that horsepower.
  17. Those things are just to ostentatious blah. They look nice. But if I did have the money I would never want to be seen in one because of all the rich HK punks driving around in them. Barf. If I want an SUV like vehicle. I would like to get the GM/Ford Duel Cab Short box. Can be as luxurious and tough as any of the HIGH END suvs that always seem to have the same ground clearance of some sport utility cars and you don't look like a punk. If my mother in law gets her permanent status I will get the Hyundai Vera Cruz. I did see the Elantra and didn't expect it to be so short. Its a Sonata with its back end trimmed. Its nice but the kids make all sort of marks on the back seat. I think if my mother doesn't get her permanent residence I might go with the 07 or 08 Mazda 3 Hatchback. I dont know the exact year but its before they went with the McGrimace happy meal grill plate.
  18. seems so But if the kit cost between 100 or 150 dollars I think its pretty good but at the price point no way especially if I compare it to my Red Frame, Strike, GP01FB, SF, RX-78, MK II, Wing, Zaku, Zeta
  19. I was just going through some video reviews of the MG Quanta since I bought it and its in transit and I came across the PG 00. His final thought mimic my own and he summed up the negatives and positives in a way I wish I had before seen than just buying the kit from excitement.
  20. i agree thats why i felt disconnected from the original series and hated the movie
  21. This thing looks like it was molded in color. I sent an email asking if it was. If so I am buying it. Sure its almost 800 bucks but one Full G-System Gundam is worthy in a collection. Just wonder if Resin can be flat coated?
  22. well not that I could not afford a fancy schmacy car like some of the hot shots here (on lease of course)but I like something that can get me from A to b and it looks nice. I am never insecure with my self or have physical short comings that I need to compensate by having a car as an accessory. I feel a lot of cars are overpriced from the parts that they use today ie more plastic polymers versus metal. Overall I am very impressed with Hyundai. I have never bought a new car as I like out right dropping between 8 to 10k on a 4-6 year old car and dont have to worry about payments. Cars in the canada are about 20-40% more than the ones sold in America, hence the canadian government going after people for buying cars in the US. For example when I went to the dealer to look at the then brand new 2002 Elantra GT the dealer wanted 23k for the show model. I almost farted in front of the salesman when i saw he was serious. When I went online I saw the same exact car in the US for 12k. Now I understand market share but come on the car is made just across the border! I remember the dealer telling me if I wanted silver they wanted to charge me an extra 1000 bucks. But people are buying cars by the boatloads which tells me soon enough the Economy will burst much like the american one did.. sigh all those silly smug canadian shepple. Anyhoo, for the pricepoint I think Hyundai makes some serious quality cars. I plan to keep my 2003 GT for another 3 to 4 years. Its in great shape, peppy with the small mods I made, and I save a lot in gas if i shift like good ol grandma. By 2014 I will either pick up this 2011 elantra or a 2009 Vera cruz. If humanity hasnt blown itself to bits by then.

  24. fcuk me ! I am a big fan of the Hyundai Elantra Since I have 2 2003 GTs and I hate the new design but the 2011 Elantra oh man this car looks sweet I am saving up for a hyundai Vera Cruz but I might get this for my wife! I do miss the hatchbacks too bad they are not continuing with them
