Probably has safe-search turned off.

Sorry. Have limited net access now. The Side of the legs are stickers. The markings on the wings are tampo printed though. I hope to see the VF-0A and hopefully the 1/60 YF-19 tommorow at chara hobby. 425989 Be a bad boy and take pics for us! We need our fix! Have fun though!

The military secretly brought aboard some dead Zentraedi after the battles and packaged the meat and distributed it to the public. I bet that they did have to recycle all waste though.
-
That's pretty cool I couldn't bear to take apart any of my 1/48s though.

New stand with fast packs. +$10 for redesign on top of whatever you pay for the fast packs. Just my guess.

Someone should try applying renaissance wax to their valkyrie. Although it would be a pain in the ass to get every part of it, since you'd have to dismantle it. Nice protective stuff though. I use it on my lightsaber replicas to keep them from rusting or having other aging/environmental things.

More for the toy thread, but I want Emilia's Q-rau with a nicely sculpted Emilia figure (not like the pos that came with the Miria Q-rau). I am attempting to convince my wife to draw more Miria and also draw Emilia. Non-cutesy. -
Well there is a resin prototype shown in the thread "The 2nd coming". But I know what you mean.

Uh, there is a 1/60 YF-19 coming out. Dunno how long they have the license.

With high G-forces and all, I'd expect it would be difficult to use a guitar stick control and keep control of the valkyrie. It seems like it would be really easy to hit the wrong button, or slide the wrong thing, especially if being shaken up. The mind boggles even more with the drum controls in the 17... O_o -
I would happily get a VF-11 from the squad Isamu was in at the beginning of M+. I like that nice dark color scheme. The fast packs aren't really important to be personally for the 19 or 21, because they add more mass and spiol that nice thin look. The VF-11 goes great with or without fast packs on the other hand. I would go for a fold booster, especially if it lights up. In particular if it lights up and sparkles! I'm really curious to see how the feet are going to be done. How they fold up for fighter mode, if we see the engine nozzle thingy like on the VF-0 and the VF-1 (I lack aircraft vocabulary). And I really want to see in detail how the gunpod hangs in fighter mode, how well the arms stow, and if there's gaps with the shield. And I'm praying it doesn't have shield problems like my 1/72 VF-11. Damned thing won't stay on in fighter mode... T_T

There is no Shin Kudo, only Zool!

OMG that rocks! It hurts to see though... There's holes in that 1/48 T_T lol But that is freaking awesome battle damage and weathering! I like the blood too, although it does appear a bit too bright in the pic, but I trust it's darker in person.

Nope, had no idea it was a tabloid. I am le owned.

I've seen wackier stuff be real before. So yeah. I mean it's a miniature real doll they're talking about. Besides there's Robotech Shadow Chronicles, who would have believed that there would be something after Sentinels...

Mylene is the main character. She is the outsider who has to have everything introduced to her, therefore the one you can relate to. She is the one who the love triangle centers on (she has two boys to pick from, just like Hikaru had two girls to pick from), she is the one who goes through a harsh learning curve, she is the one directly related to characters from the original Macross, she is the one piloting the VF-1J in the Macross homage... The only reason people don't recognize her as the main character, IMO, is that she is a girl. She's the one who develops as a character. 425052 Actually it fits that Mylene is the main character. I tend to have this thing where I feel like killing the main character. I wanted to kill Hikaru in Macross, I wanted to hit Isamu in the head with a really heavy rock in M+, and I wanted to smash Shin's head into something whenever he'd freak out. And I want to throw Seiya down a cliff from Saint Seiya. I wanted to stick the pointy end of a sword into Parn's chest from Lodoss. On the other hand I do like Bean Bandit, Rally Vincent, Spike Speagel, and Leona Ozaki. And I couldn't stand Hibiki Kanzaki in MII, I wanted to strangle him nice and slow like. Something always bugs the hell out of me with main characters. Some more or less than others. -
Haven't found anything on that supposed biggest toy maker in France. Then again, France is so damned backwater about the internet, it's easily possible they don't have a website. But still to not find ANYTHING about the company online except in that article is weird. Plus it sounds too wacky and cool to be true. lol But I'll keep an eye out.

Congrats! She's going to grow up before you know it! Man I still can't believe how fast my little cousin is growing up! I feel old!

The first one is Obi-wan's Apprentice lightsaber from some books or comics or something, that one is a fan made one. The second is the one from TPM, the third is from AOTC, they have very subtle differences, don't worry if you don't see them. The fourth is the ROTS version, which is thinner and sleeker than the version seen in ANH. The fifth is the MR As First Built By, which is what they imagined Obi-wans lightsaber would have looked like when it was first built, it was done before ROTS came out and is not considered canon. The last one is the ANH version. It's thicker, and in real life is made from a bunch of found parts. And this is what the ROTS Obi-wan FX looks like. Like I said, fat neck syndrome, like Luke's ROTJ. But I've been told you don't notice it when you're swinging that thing around, letting it do the lightsaber noises for you.

Does it matter who's cooking as long as it tastes good? Food is food man!
-
There is no Luke ANH FX right now, this is just to show the differences between the ANH, ESB, and ROTS Skywalker lightsabers. I prefer the Anakin ROTS design, but it's all a matter of taste. The Obi-wan ROTS FX is either coming out or already out. I'm not sure if it's out already or not. It suffers from fat nexk syndrome like the Luke ROTJ FX.

Ah, I see what you mean about the wings sloping. Is it like that on the other 19s as well? The 19F/S, the 19P, and the Fire valkyrie? Looks good sloping.

That makes him mentally challenged?? c'mon now.. 424836 I don't get it either.

Oh god, I can't watch this even for laughs if someone sings "We will win" in it. -
I don't know how durable the FXs are from experience because I'm careful with mine. If you hit hard stuff with a lot of force, it will break. If you beat two FXs against each other really hard, they will break. If you really want to beat the crap out of something you'll need a lightsaber with a stronger polycarbonite blade. I've heard really good reviews of the Darth Maul FX. It takes only 3AAA batteries, lights up good, has nice clear and strong sound, and can couple with another single Darth Maul FX to become his double-lightsaber. Plus the hilt is pretty close to the size of the LE/movie hilt. People keep recommending it over a Vader ESB lightsaber. I own an Anakin ROTS FX. It's really cool, I love it. Takes 3AA batteries though. And eventually the copper paint rubs off of the button. But it's still awesome. The Luke ESB is an older model that has the instant turn on/off blade, not the scrolling on and off effect. It also takes 6AA batteries and isn't as bright or loud.
