No complaints here if the VF-0A is released this Friday.

Clone a cow, keep it in a box and keep it happy and fed. Kobe beef! Awesome stuf!

She used the picture of the toy to place the base lines of it, because she's not used to drawing mecha. Then she colored it and did all the water and stuff. I'll post more in this thread when I've got more pics from her. I'll update the title or something with the date.

Well twisting landing gear for storage in the landing gear compartment would make taking them out easier on my fingernails. More space to grab onto for me.

Heheh, spring powered ejecting legs and arms, awesome. Although having the ability to swap arms for having a better battroid look or a better fighter look could be a cool alternative to sacrifices made for all three modes... It would be like giving the 1/48 VF-1s an optional lengthened nosecone to optimise the look of fighter mode, and a shorter nosecone to make battroid mode look better.

Saint Seiya Hades Arc: Sanctuary Chapter. The original TV series was really popular in the 80s but it wasnt picked up for US broadcasting, so the US missed out on this really famous series that's taken the world by storm. The TV series might be hard to get into. I got into the series watching the continuation of the series, then went back and read the manga to get everything up to that point and fell in love with the series. Although you'd have to get Chinese bootleg DVDs to watch the Hades Arc subtitled in English. ADV hasn't gotten that far (if they're even still releasing the tv series). Orguss 02. Six episode OVA. It's different, I like it. Although it spoils the end of Orguss I think (I wouldnt know since I never finished the TV series). Don't go hunting for the music cd if you watch the dubbed version... *grumble* Spent over ten years hunting the soundtrack only to find out that the dubbed version had completely different music and songs, and it turns out I hated the original Japanese music. Go figure. Escaflowne the Movie. It's a stand alone story, you dont need to have watched the TV series which was shoujo-ish (especially the character design, yeegads). Besides the character designs are better in the movie and the characters are more badass. Music by Yoko Kanno, can't go wrong there. Patlabor is pretty good. I never finished the OVA or watched the TV series because I was a kid with very little money to be buying expensive VHS tapes way back when. But the few OVA episodes I did buy were pretty fun. I love the first and second movie done by Mamoru Oshii. Very serious as opposed to the light-hearted and comedic OVA episodes I saw. Good music too. Although not in the "best of" category for me, I recommend Photon for some good laughs. Not little kid safe by any means. Lot of sexual humor. Another not "best of" and chock full of crude sexual humor is Orochuban Ebichu. You can watch quite a few episodes if you look up Ebichu on youtube. Good for a chuckle.

Claudia is Edgar. He had a sex change operation.

Oh man, now that's going to bug me (until I forget that is). I didn't know the old 1/72 was missing the shoulder flaps also.
-
AWESOME! Thank you David, you rock man! Damn that looks really cool... Oh gods more stuff to buy.
-
I won't complain if it turns out to be a Low Vis V1-ish scheme. Man I'm really excited about the VF-0A!

I would like to see other 1/60 scale valkyries before a redo of the VF-1. Namely the VF-11 to be in scale with the YF-19. A VF-4 would rock. VF-5000 would be pretty neat. And I would love to get a Queadluun-quilqua with an Emilia figure. Emilia is teh awesome.

I'd buy a redone DYRL Max VF-1A, maybe a Focker. A Low Vis V1 if they made one. But that's it. And only after they let the VF-1 line cool down a bit and give other valkyries attention. If they immediately redid the VF-1 line, I'd wait on it.

That's pretty cool! I like Tachikomas. I should watch the rest of GITSAC someday...

Thanks for the pic David! I was searching for one last night before I went to sleep with no success. Oh hell I may just have to pick that up when it comes out too.

The beer belly is hardly noticeable to me. She's so sleek I don't really notice that pudge. I'm more than satisfied with what the pics have shown so far... So far. I still want to see the underside of fighter mode, the back of the battroid, and the guts of this toy (mid transformation).

If anyone finds pics of the ghost booster, by all means please post pics!

Oh god not the infamous tab B. I heard so much about that little piece breaking... I hope Yamato puts this babe through a bunch of endurance tests to make sure she doesn't break!
-
GWUAH! O_O Awesome! Thank you wolfx for braving the scary yamato guys! And thanks eyesonme78 for the link with more pics! I can't wait to see this babe all prettied up with paint! Oh man I can't believe this is really happening! I've been waiting for this toy since I originally saw Macross Plus. Oh gods I hope they do a VF-11! I'd rather get a VF-22 over the YF-21 though... Whether it be a Max, Gamlin, or VFX-2 version (maybe even the Miria one, although I don't like red so much for that valk).

Unfortunately, no. But the 19 does have some interesting features that the photos haven't revealed yet. Intriguing. Now I'm going to be sitting here with my brain burning until meltdown wondering what these interesting features are... Okay, gotta be patient. Gotta be patient... ...

A YF-19 my wife did based on one of the recent pics of the new YF-19 by Yamato. She was happy I was so excited about the new YF-19 that she did this pic. I'm still working on convincing her to do some other Macross characters.

Another pic by my wife. This time it's the further adventures of that jedi youngling... He survives though because he's like Damuramu.

I like the modification you pointed out David! Looks better smoother and rounder like that.
-
Heh, I wonder if it will have a removable magazine and store a spare under the shield (probably not).
-
Looks like the legs are attached to the uh... lerxs? The hips. I don't see a bar connecting with the legs like with the old VF-11 or the VF-1 and VF-0. I hope that the shield doesn't pop off easy or have difficulties attaching in any of the modes. It bugs me a tiny bit that there's that little space in the chest over the uni-boob, but that's just because I'm anal about everything connecting flush. In any case... HOT DAMN! I gotta get me one of these!

WOAH! O_O What a knockout! That is Gerwalk mode YF-19! GAH! GAH! GAH! Must get one of these! And that answers David's question as to whether or not the nose sensor thingy will be a seperate clear plastic piece or painted on. addition: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! We can see part of a battroid leg in the gerwalk picture! NOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooo, there's no pictures yet! T_T
