  1. I dunno, we were lamenting the scrapping of the 1/72 YF-19 FP resculpt that was scrapped and there was the stuff with Yamato giving Graham the cold shoulder for a while. And there've many posts for a while with people wanting Yamato to redo the YF-19 in a bigger scale. Weren't there even people complaining that a number of us were complaining that the YF-19 FP got scrapped? I'm not happy with the price, but damnit this thing looks good.
  2. Oh I wasn't arguing about Aegis not being related to Focker, Exo. I just doubt that Aegis is his child, considering when Roy died and how young Aegis seems to be. I was just saying that it's not possible that Claudia gave birth to Aegis. I'm in the camp that believes Aegis is related to Roy somehow.
  3. On the mention of badguys, we could get an orgasming Sivil figure.
  4. I'm waiting for second run for various reasons. Waiting for any improvements that might be made from the first to the second run, waiting to see what I need to be careful about from reviews (what parts may be prone to breakage), and all that good stuff. But I will get one.
  5. There is no Rick only Hikaru.
  6. Very nice. Shiryu shows the most improvement with that long hair that looks like hair. Now there are 3 mangas running of Saint Seiya. -The prequel written by Kurumada taking place after Athena's birth but before the start of the original series, drawn by Megumu Okada: Saint Seiya G -The prequel drawn by Kurumada himself, taking place at least 243 years ago, during the last holy war. But get this, Aries Shion and Libra Doko were originally bronze saints... wtf: Saint Seiya Next Dimension -And the third prequel written by Kurumada, and drawn by Shiori Teshirogi. They look good in this version. It takes place roughly around the same time as the other prequel: Saint Seiya Lost Canvas
  7. Is that a Matte Mace Windu CS Exclusive mini? Aka "Matte Windu".
  8. Please don't make Macross Musume. It would just be lame. Tasukete Mave-chan was lame, please don't hurt Macross.
  9. Problem is he doesn't even look like Roy. We see young Roy in some flashbacks and that episode about how he and Claudia met. Aegis doesn't look like him, and he doesn't even sound like him. Not to mention Aegis doesn't have that big chin, and he's not a monster of a man like Roy (unless all the other characters in VFX2 are giants as well, which would make Gilliam a super-tall giant of a man). A clone of Roy Focker, Aegis is not. And keep in mind VFX2's character designer was Mikimoto so it's not like you can argue that it's due to a different character designer.
  10. The black one reminds me of the SV-51 in battroid!
  11. They've been around for years, them being underage wouldnt cause a sudden reinterest in the series. Besides they sure don't look as young as they are. addition: Besides they're just drawings, so who cares?
  12. Yep, 10 years. That's why there's also been a reinterest in Eva doujinshi by circles in Japan.
  13. OMG their hair. What happened to their hair! I want to see the back of the battroid, especially the backs of the upper legs.
  14. This is the cheesiest game I've ever seen footage for.
  15. Wouldn't it be funny if Mickey Rourke happened to be a critic and took up that challenge? I didn't finish the video, it was lame.
  16. Well Aegis sure doesn't look black, and Claudia laments that she never got to have Roy's child in the Viva Maria episode. There's a picture of Global in the Colonel's office, just to the right of the hanging gloves in the scene where Isamu and Yang confront him about the announcement of the Ghost X-9 (at least in the movie edition).
  17. The YF-19 is complex enough as it is without including electronics in it. I doubt the YF-19 is going to light up. Besides with it being in the nose what would light up? The red sensors? Save the electronics for the Fold Booster.
  18. Oh man, I missed this before! Holy crap that is an awesome modified kit! Two thumbs up! I had always wondered how this kit transformed, but I had never seen any walkthroughs before. Just the kit posed in fighter or battroid. Thank you for the pics!
  19. They should have made Megatron an artillery cannon or something, kind of like Galvitron, if they were going to make him big. But a freaking alien jet? And that was starscream? I watched the original transformers and the cartoon movie and loved them when I was a kid. I really don't have much faith in this being a good movie, or even a watchable one...
  20. I know what you mean bsu_legato. It killed me as a little kid: " What do you mean it's not a Brontosaurus?" Okay Pluto's not a planet anymore. At least they didn't add like 100 dwarf planets for us to memorize! addition: Hey effect, let's create a super dimensional fortress colony ship and fly off into space to go die of bacteria on another planet.
  21. The Macross 7 Plus with the VF-14s is at the end of episode 32. Unfortunately I've only got the Design Works book and Macross Plus Movie Edition book for M+ valkyrie designs. No VF-11B gunpod in the movie edition book for lineart. The VF-4 boggles my mind on how to make a transforming toy that you don't have to dismantle and put back together. Well Fighter to gerwalk I see, but going to battroid... The part that stumps me is how the leg region slides along the underside to position itself to just behind and underneath the cockpit. I speculate on different ways, but the transformation depicted in the Design Works doesn't show step by step, it's just one complicated picture. But yeah, I want a VF-11 before a YF-21. Hell, Yamato should do a low vis V1 or real low vis scheme for every valk they release. I like low vis.
  22. Well you get to breifly see VF-14s in M7 in one of the Macross 7 Plus episodes, plus they transform. But as it has been pointed out, not likely that Yamato will pick up a M7 license. I prefer the VF-14 over the FZ-109s... Something about it staying sleek, thin, and all black. I think that Yamato could replicate how the VF-11 has its heatshield stored as long as they make it possible to push in the cockpit to make room for the heatshield to slide out in two parts like in the Macross Design Works. Not a valk, but I'd like a non-scale Macross 13 if a M7 license ins't possible. I know everyone would want a SDF Macross first, but I want a transformable Macross 13.
  23. I was checking out some old pics of the 1/72 VF-11 prototype that Graham had posted way back when, and noticed that there were no shoulder bars in battroid mode. If I had to make a list of stuff I'd like to see on a 1/60 or 1/48 VF-11 it would be this: -total resculpt with proper proportions -larger tailfins with correct folding (as David has pointed out) -folding landing gear (as David suggested) -internally stored heatshield somehow (from the design works, it looks like you could set up the cockpit to be able to be pushed inwards and slide out the top and bottom heatshield partsto cover the cockpit) -elimination of the shoulder bars -properly sculpted and proportioned fast packs with replaceable parts to make it the 11B or 11C type -11B gunpod and 11C gunpod included with the valkyrie -better way to attach the gunpod -a proper shield that actually stays on in fighter mode (it's infuriating on my poor VF-11, shield can't stay on) -Macross Plus pilot figure and VFX2 pilot figure -eventual full armor It was in VFX2. And if they did a VF-14 I would be sorely tempted to pick it up. Although I would much rather have a VF-4.
  24. Yeah he has trouble suppressing that zentraedi trait: "Urge to kill rising" Not that I blame him the way Isamu is.
  25. Or it's just a case of the coin being flipped and the girls winning 6 times in a row, it's 50/50 chances. Imagine if the coin landed on it's edge! Hemaphrodite Jenius.
