Awesome! I don't know if you can swap out the necks for Shaka to use on the bust. If you can, you probably have to dismantle the figure's body, something I'd be too scared to do. I get edgy just popping the head off. lol Yeah, Aldebaran is badass. He really grew on me. I feel bad for leaving him in storage when I moved. One of my favorite characters to use in the fighting game on PS2. You can feel the power when he does a three hit combo and sends his opponent flying, or just body-slams them, or palm strikes them.

I loved Jack's intro in this movie with the big sniffing nose, and was fairly amused by the multiple Jacks, even if it was a bit overused. Also enjoyed him riding the Black Pearl to the beach, in a nod to his introduction in the first film.

Gepelnitch was male. A really girly looking male, but male. I interpret Anima Spiritia as "moe". So they should gather otakus wearing those harnesses while watching their favorite shows/reading their favorite mangas/listening to or singing their favorite songs/artists doing what they enjoy.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars CG TV series
Sumdumgai replied to GRAND CANNON's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Hell Mark Hamill is a voice actor now, he could easily do Luke's voice again if Lucas wanted to lure him back with more cash. I would still like to see something taking place in the era of Knights of the Old Republic. -
Thanks guys, I'll try to see if I can score a Surplice Aries Shion off of yahoo Japan auctions. If I can't get one at a good price, I'll pm you eternal_D.
-
Yeah, the Surplices have differences in them besides color. They have a lot more sharp edges and points, and different etched designs. I personally prefer the Cancer and Capricorn Cloths as Surplices.

Okay guys, no more need to keep your eyes open for it! Thanks to those of you who were on the lookout for it. Whoever stole it sent it back! -
I don't know why, but for some reason whenever I see the SV-51 lately, I get the urge to buy one. Then hit it in the center as hard as I can with a hammer... I have no idea why! I like it in fighter mode.

Cancer Deathmask's pose is the one where he stands with his legs slightly spread apart (like with most attacks in Saint Seiya), while he points with his right index finger. "SEKISHIKI MEIKAIHA!" Throws your soul to the gates of the Underworld. Aquarius Camus needs an appendix or a surplice version made, because his head is terrible. Ah, Shion looks awesome in his Surplice, I need to get one. The squinty eyes are growing on me. I just wish his Surplice had more of a reddish tint to the purple, but oh well. Plus we get to see Siren Sorrento's silhouette. I still curse for missing the pre-order on HLJ. Damn damn damnity damn damn damn.

King of Fighters - Live-Action?!?
Sumdumgai replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
They need to get an actor with a deep voice and good at acting berserk to play Iori, and an actress good at appearing cold and being able to go animalistic psycho as Leona. -

Well it wasn't the ONLY one they had. There were two prototypes. One for tooling and stuff, the other for being sent to Lucasfilms for approval and to show off, etc. So they still have one, but it's going to take longer to get everything done since they need to work on the one they do have, then send it to Lucasfilms, then get it back and continue work. It's going to take longer to get things done, and with MR having to get things out before 2008, it's cutting it close. -

I have a feeling this is going to suck. Just too easy for so many things to go wrong. Like going with any of the storylines after '97. It would be awesome if they adapted the KOF Kyo manga's story for the movie. -

Here's a picture from the party before it was stolen (no I didn't go to that party I didn't join the Collector's Society): MR wanted to do something special for the CS members. A lot of people get frustrated at only being able to see things behind a locked glass case, and they understood that, so they thought they would be nice and allow people to handle the things on display. While I personally agree it was a bad idea, and that they should have at least had some people watching over the items, I agree with the points of LePoseur, it's sad that it's more common to accept the crime and blame the victim for not taking enough precautions. It is unfortunate that there's always low-lifes out there that are there to take as much advantage of people as possible. But on the opposite hand there are some really great people out there. -
My favorite part that I always quote from the mixxzine release: "gurgle" (the lion) Makes me smile just remembering it.

Much appreciated Chowser! "Thank you" to those of you who keep an eye open for this thing. Although a number of people fear that it's going to stay in the thief/douchebag's personal collection. -
Here's the thread: Luke ROTJ Version 2 Lightsaber Prop stolen "Unfortunately, someone stole the Luke V2 on display at the MR party last night. This is much more than just a stolen item, this is an active sample being used in the process of releasing this piece and it being missing will cause delays in its release, which is a shame. MR needs this piece back and has asked me to convey there would like to get it back, no questions asked. I'm happy to assist in any way I can as well." I am asking you to please keep your eyes open for anyone trying to sell a "Master Replicas Luke Return of the Jedi Version 2 Lightsaber Prop Replica". If you see anyone doing so, please contact Phlip Wise at Rebelscum, or contact Amy (or Travis, or Bryan) at Master Replicas.

Will you buy the upcoming 1/60 YF19 w foldbooster bundle?
Sumdumgai replied to Beware of Blast's topic in Toys
Waiting for a different color scheme, and not interested in a foldildo. -
I just got back from CIV, and I had lotsa fun. Got to meet and get autographs from Temuera Morrison, Ray Park, and Amy Allen, plus got to get pictures with them. Also saw Kenny Baker, David Prowse, Orli Shoshan, Daniel Logan, Jeremy Bulloch, Julian Glover, the guy that played Admrial Piet, Bruce Spence, and almost got stepped on by Peter Mayhew (holy crap that guy is tall). Man, that was so fun.

Wasn't olld enough to watch any of the original trilogy in the theaters. Always made me sad I couldn't see them on the big screen. Then the Special Editions came out and I was young enough that I didn't care about the changes and thought they were cool (didn't remember Han shooting first, or that would have bugged me). Watched Phantom Menace at midnight with something like half my school at the theater. Watched AOTC with my best friend. The projector crapped out in the middle of the Battle of Geonosis and we got free movie tickets and got to see the rest of the movie after they fixed it. Went to see ROTS at midnight a day or two before everyone in the US, since it was released early in France. I'm not sure, but Anthony Daniels might have been at the theater. Everyone looked up to the second floor where the movie was to be shown, and there was a guy that looked like Anthony Daniels and everyone started screaming incoherently. Dunno if it was him or not, but man my ears were hurting before we got seated. Oh yeah, maybe I'll run into some of you at CIV tomorrow.

God damnit I missed the pre-order on HLJ for Siren Sorrento. Now I have to go through Yahoo Japan or something. poo!
-
Yeah but we didn't see anything on the naked terminator chick. It was like not being able to see Helen naked in the steaming pile of crap that was Troy (Hector was cool though).

Yeah I was thinking about how they could have Nathan and Peter survive: Nathan: "Okay we're high enough bro, I'm gonna let you go now." Peter: "Huh?" Nathan: "I'm not going to die now that I've become a congressman, you can heal like Claire! You'll survive going nuclear and the fall! See ya, sucker!" [lets go, Peter flies higher into the air as Nathan flies away] Peter: "OH SHI-" [bOOM] [Everyone in New York and the surrounding states grow tentacles from the fallout floating down from high in the sky. Peter falls to earth and splats, but miraculously enough of his brain is intact to heal his body.] tada! Not that I'm really hoping for this to have happened though. Hiro back in time didn't leave a good taste in my mouth. I fear suckiness next season. But hoping for awesome.

Wow, missed the manhole and trail of blood because my tv's bunny-ears suck. I'm gonna have to rewatch it tomorrow. I was hoping for more of a fight. Although Nikki/Jessica clubbing Sylar was a pretty fun moment for me.

Welcome to the otaku culture. Those are cute figures, but I'm not gonna get them.
