  1. #1 1/48 VF-1A Low Visibility version 1- My treasured low vis is still as tight as the day I got her (yeah that sounds really wrong). A beautiful valkyrie period, and a definite classic. #2 1/60 YF-19- I don't have one yet, but I will be getting the 25th anniversary version. I've waited thirteen years for a good toy rendition of the YF-19, and sumdumgai is pleased with Yamato's latest offering. I've held out for a repaint (and fixes and improvements over the first wave). I'm disappointed about the lack of a locking mechanism for the chest in battroid and gerwalk, but I'll live with it. At least it's not a Bandai M7 19 toy. #3 1/60 Miria Q-rau- Went through multiple attempts and many disasters to get this baby. Looks fantastic, has nice tight joints, and I got the cm's corportation/Yamato Miria pilot to replace the bfugly excuse for a Miria figure that came with it. Besides it being Miria's, it's also the only enemy mecha from Macross that Yamato has made. #4 1/60 VF-0A Cannon Fodder- Sadly this beauty is in fourth place due to that broken shoulder issue. It would be in #3 or 2, but the shoulder really sours it for me. It's worse than the day that my 1/48 Max VF-1A head laser broke off (was easily fixed), or the day my 1/48 Miria VF-1J had the bp8 hinge snap, since the shoulder breakage is Yamato's fault. -list to be revised upon having seen future releases like the SV-51 and YF-21.
  2. Well the cats liking to knead people's clothes is something that stayed from when they were kittens. While feeding on the mother's milk, they knead her boobies to make sure milk stays flowing to them. So later in life when they're happy, they knead soft things like clothes, your legs (especially when they have sharp nails), your pillow, etc.. I certainly hope that they don't recycle battle animation like in M7. That really started to get on my nerves.
  3. Well hell, I'd be fine with a YF-21 repaint being black with gold trim regardless of whether or not it has "25th anniversary" markings all over it. I'll still get the 19 regardless of whether or not it's tampo printed.
  4. We've been discussing it here: valks and lead paint thread Just don't suck on or lick your valks, and you should probably be fine... Probably.
  5. Yes, Graham we're a sack of nutjobs. I've never been a strong advocate for or against tampo printing (or I've forgotten which stance I was, which wouldn't surprise me in the least). I just think that having the "25th anniversary" printed all over the place makes it look too gaudy.
  6. Hell, if Yamato make's Dobber's scheme, I'm buying one. That scheme was just so kick ass, it would be the thing to make me buy the SV-51.
  7. I am hoping as well that the text are stickers. I prefer the look of that 19 with gold trim, but no text.
  8. Maybe the Minmay figure will have removeable clothes like Yamato's Animal Girl Lynx figures, or Mega House's Queens Blade figures... I'd be much more inclined to buy it.
  9. Bobe-Patt, you are correct sir. I had my wife translate the three points for me (but I didn't have her write it down, sorry guys). The articulation was point 3, point 2 was something about it being a much more detailed and uber-awesome figure because it's being done in a larger scale (I guess as opposed to cm corporation trading figures). I think point 1 was something about a cool detailed costume.

I know what you mean eugimon. If it is the VF-0D, I'm sad to say I won't be getting it. Unless they completely redo the shoulder and arms so that they won't break, and there've been reviews to testify that they don't break (add a few months of wait to make sure that time has passed and that no breakages have occured yet). And, if it is thee VA-3... Well, I hate that one, so I won't get it.
  11. Huh, the Minmay figure is supposed to be articulated... I dunno about that... For large female figures I prefer them in fixed poses.

VF-0D? It penetrates into the ocean and gets all wet.
  13. I'm hoping for a brand new Evangelion Redeath from studio sokodei, after the new movie. "It's Gendo."
  14. I'll be one of the few to say that I like the toy with the gold markings. I wasn't planning on getting one anyway, but if I were, the way the Nora SV-51 looks from the pics, I'd be much more likely to pick up the Nora.
  15. If it's Macross meets Legend of the Overfiend, keep the guro out of it please. Almost blew chunks when I saw a clip from Urotsukidoji. Tentacles I can handle, but not guro. The head of the new valk reminds me of one of the Patlabor heads.
  16. Alright everyone chant with me now. "Shower Minmay, shower Minmay, shower Minmay!"
  17. Awesome, I just saw pics of the hasegawa models in a magazine and was thinking that a similar scheme for Yamato toys could be cool. I really like the 19. It's not a stealth, but I'm really digging this 25th anniversary scheme. Now if only they could make the visor red...
  18. I just saw in (I think it was) Dengeki Hobby and one other magazine, pics of the Hasegawa 25th Anniversary valkyries. The 19 looks much better than the art we've seen of it. It's a really deep dark purple, as in almost black dark. It has gold accents, and it looks pretty cool. I'd probably buy a Yamato version of it if they did one.
  19. Haven't found anything on youtube Japan yet.
  20. Careful valkyrie addict, Yamato may just give us a stealth foldildo... That would bring a whole new meaning to being "yamatoed"!
  21. Or they could just bring back Michael Biehn as Hicks, who is much older than he was supposed to be originally. Although I doubt he'd do it. I'm glad he turned down Alien 3. I was thinking for Vasquez the other actress in the first Resident Evil, the one that wasn't Milla Jovovich and played a tough character. Edward Norton is an awesome actor. AVP is all you need to think of to know how an Aliens remake would be. So I wonder with the new Escape movie, who will fill the role of the President and take over for Donald Pleasence. Malcolm McDowell? Since he's going to be Dr. Loomis in the new Halloween movie.
  22. You know what? I was thinking the exact same thing, wolfx.
  23. Holy crap, that 19 is so mindblowingly awesome! Great custom, wicked ace! Now, I really hope Yamato puts out a Stealth VF-19A...
  24. LOL M7 becomes the new DYRL. Yeah, it was a sentai music show in the Macross Universe done with support from UN Spacy. I could live with that, even if I'm not one of the M7 haters.
  25. While they're at it, why don't they remake Alien, Robocop, Dr. Strangelove, Predator, Dirty Harry, and Blade Runner? I'm being sarcastic by the way . I was going to add Evil Dead to that, but it's already being remade according to imdb.
