  1. Unless the shoulders and arms are completely redesigned, would it really matter if Yamato released a VF-0D? I mean, who would put down that kind of money knowing that they've got at least a 30% chance of shoulders having breakage (if the 0A Shin poll results are accurate). I would have loved to get a VF-0D before the shoulder incidents.
  2. Dobber Scheme FTW!

    Monster 404

That's awesome! "Now you must die." Perfect with the monster!
  4. I still want to know more about that Minmay figure! Haven't been able to find any pics or anything about her other than the little announcement.
  5. I'm getting neither. It's not because I don't like them, I think they both look really good. But, I have enough 1/48 VF-1s, and I decided to pick up the YF-19 FD FP set, while I wait for a 19 Low Vis or Stealth. Won't be getting the SV-51 unless it's done with Dobber's Scheme. 21 is definitely in my crosshairs. Another valkyrie I've wanted over a decade for.
  6. wow, I never thought I'd see a VF-1S with a camel toe before.
  7. Now all it needs it a big black fold-dildo. I'm glad that they didn't do the project supernova scheme as the 25th anniversary, because I'd rather it not be a limited edition scheme. To me these 25th anniversary schemes look good, but don't do it enough for me.
  8. I wouldn't turn down hentai figures of most of the macross ladies. No thank you on Veffida, she's too mannish for my tastes.
  9. a YF-19, YF-21, and VF-11 would be awesome, as would a Q-rau. Heh, wouldn't a revoltech SDF Macross be fun for super dynamic poses? Daedelus Attack!!! Macross Kick!
  10. Valkyries win, they use reflex weaponry. Or just use the beam cannon on the strike pack to shoot godzilla in the head.
  11. Yeah the 1J is a good choice, those head lasers are a bit thicker than on the 1A, so less chance of breakage (had to fix my 1A Max because it snapped one day).
  12. I have a feeling this is going to look like Exo-squad the Movie.
  13. Interesting. Although I admit my brain froze because I'm tired, but I'm going to check that link out again. I've wondered how tampo printing worked.... Thanks for the link, David!
  14. Congrats on losing your 1/48 virginity. Kyp, be very careful with the backpack hinge. Especially if you get fast packs. Never force it even a little bit. Other than the BP-8 part of the backpack, I haven't had any problems with my 1/48s.
  15. "Excaliver" Well as good as the 19 may look, engrish aside, I'm going to pass and wait for a stealth or low vis scheme. For the amount that these babies cost, I'm not going to "settle" at almost what I want.
  16. Yes, it's heretical shaggydog, I'm going to stab you with a pitchfork now! (and just so you know, I'm joking) I'm seriously curious which parts look better to you on the 1/72 YF-19, though. And, I agree, I hope that the YF-21 is nice and solid (and has no BP-8-ish parts).
  17. I went to Frank and Sons once a long time ago (before dvds came out ), but hadn't been there since then. I had forgotten about it until I found the thread in the "where to buy" part of MW. I had no idea that there were sellers that had Saint Cloth Myth figures there. I'm already waiting for my Surplice Shion and Sorrento to be shipped from Japan and those were the main two I've been waiting for for a while, so I'm not really "hunting" right now. I can't wait to have Sorrento.

    Graham's Sig

VF-11B before VF-17. Definitely needed before the VF-17. I of course want the VF-17, but I NEED a VF-11B remake first.
  19. But we already have an updated valk with all that is post Macross. And for the utmost fusion of any two designs, there is the combination of Destroid and Valkyrie with the VB-6 Koenig Monster. May this movie bomb or be stuck in development hell, to keep the monies from the pockets of HG. The sooner they roll belly up and croak, the better.
  20. Maybe the the finger joints will actually be articulated? So far I'm impressed, although bits and pieces look a bit off. I'll wait for prototype pics, I'm sure that it'll alleviate all the little doubts and fears that are gnawing at me when I see the cad art. I agree with you Nani?! , it feels like this one is going to be very special.
  21. Thanks for letting me know about the way he ships. This is the reason I worry about how things are shipped: Q-rau pain The extent of the damage, piece by painful piece I'll make sure to ask for a cardboard box when I order from Toy-Wave then.
  22. I will laugh until I puke if Tom Cruise gets into this movie as Roy Focker. It wouldn't be the first time he's supposed to play a tall blond man.
  23. Can't wait for the next one. This series is second only to Jackie Chan's Street Fighter bit in City Hunter.
  24. I go through Yahoo Japan auctions, and have been considering trying out Toy-Wave for some stuff. Scream Man, don't you use Toy-Wave? If so, how are they in terms of service and how well do they pack things? To be honest, I have yet to see Saint Cloth Myth figures in so. cal, exception being at Anime Expo's dealer room.
  25. I threw up in my mouth a little, from this news. So if it gets made, will toynami still handle the toys? Or will the license be given to hasbro or another bigger company to mass produce? If a Macross movie were to be done, I personally think they should do a new story. That way it avoids raping the original series or movie, wouldn't be held back by adapting absolutely everything, and if it turns out bad it can be written off as Alternate Universe. If this at all makes it difficult to get Yamato Macross toys for any reason, I'll have a fit.
