  1. As long as it's pretty close to how it sounds, whatever for me now. Now if you start calling Hikaru, Rick, and Misa, Lisa, and Kakizaki, Ben... Then you're likely to get poked by everyone. By the way doesn't DYRL Exedore remind you of the Talosians from Star Trek TOS episode "The Cage"?
  2. That meltrandi pilot is tall enough to punch Focker's VF-1S in the nosecone! You know, the more I see the new 1/60 VF-1, the more I'm liking it. I'd like to see how a VF-19 or VF-22 with no weapons would do in a hand-to-hand fight against a large zentraedi soldier. And, noooooooooooooooo misterryno! I don't want to be pooed on!
  3. IF they made the 1/60 VF-1 the same size as a VF-0, they wouldn't be 1/60 scale VF-1s, they'd be 1/48 scale VF-1s. I'm glad they're losing the bulbous hip joint on the old 1/60 VF-1s.
  4. That's too bad. But, considering how a lot of us only go there when MW goes down...
  5. While hunting John Connor: "Life-forms." *pumps shotgun* " You tiny little life-forms." *shoots shotgun and throws it down* " You precious life-forms." *whips out pistol and starts shooting* "Where are you? Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo."
  6. Just found out the name of the previous Holy War Capricorn Gold Saint: Capricorn El Cid F**king awesome! As he has a pretty cool introduction into the story of Lost Canvas.
  7. I didn't say this would turn out to be horrible toys and models. I just don't have a good vibe from seeing those pics. The Hory Froating Head's expression adds to that feeling and makes me laugh out loud. I hope that Bandai steps up and puts some time, effort, and care into doing some Macross Frontier toys, and doesn't go half-assed. Oh yeah: VF-171 needs to be made damnit!
  8. To quote another series: "I have a bad feeling about this..."
  9. I know. Unfortunately. I liked the way the group "Sacred Saga" illustrated June with her Chameleon Cloth being silver. It looked awesome. Kamui Pegasus Seiya looks interesting. Saint Seiya related, but not Myth Cloth related, I wish that the Megahouse Athena figure wasn't screen accurate in the castoff department... She has no nipples, just like in the Tenkaihen movie. She doesn't quite look right either. I would pick up a Pandora if Megahouse made one, and did it well. I want figures based on the Lost Canvas characters and style.
  10. Timing means nothing if the TV series doesn't do well. A movie version may not even be worth doing if the TV series doesn't do well, or just plain old sucks. There wasn't a movie edition or movie of Macross Zero. Not everything warrants a movie (especially if it came originally from a manga).
  11. Reminds me of the M7 1/144 scale model kit packs of fighter and battroid. They sucked I guess time will tell what these are and what Bandai will and will not do.
  12. Niiiice. I'm still waiting on Ophiucus Shaina, Eagle Marine, and Chameleon June. Although, to be honest I kind of hope they just make June's Cloth silver colored instead of the anime clown colors...
  13. Suzy Newtlet, one of the other Jenius daughters, or a Miria clone could be cool. Maybe Chloe from Fleet of the Strongest Women. I could see Isamu being a combat flight instructor/special ops pilot.
  14. YF-19 with Fastpacks. If you get tired of them you can take them off. It has the non-crooked gunpod (so it shoots straight as opposed to missing the toilet), the canted landing gear, and I'm more or less summing up what everyone else has already said. Plus you get a fold booster that we affectionately call the foldildo. It flashes if you buy watch batteries, put them in, and turn it on. I still haven't gotten around to doing that...
  15. Maybe the pilots of the Q-rau MF* are sitting kind of hunched up like in a tachikoma cockpit. I am curious to see who is carrying on with Miria's colors.
  16. Nice catch Mr. March, I hadn't noticed the elongated cannons on the arms. The backpack thrusters are more recessed and higher up in the backpack. The "boob-cannons" aren't large bore anymore, they've got a smaller barrel sticking out. There are extra little nubs on the back missile launchers. They look like they might be for something. Maybe chaff and flare launchers? In any case, I like this evolution of the Q-rau so far. I still want to know what those two things are on the right shoulder. It's familiar yet different. I just hope they don't go the way of the VF-11 and VF-171 (moving targets).
  17. you guys are so dirty! At least it hasn't gone to poop jokes... Yet. I like my 19 without fast packs. Nice thin beauty. Looks fine with the leg fast packs, but the shoulder ones kill it in fighter mode for me. Makes it look all fat and big and bulky in the rear.
  18. Generally it's best to eliminate user error by fiddling with the toy a lot, then posting some questions to see if you're doing it right, before complaining. You'll get elbow nudged and teased a lot less. And I get that on my YF-19 when I don't put everything back in place in fighter mode. Make sure everything is secure. If it still doesn't hold together, then you probably got the s**t luck of getting a lemon, since overall the QC on the 19 w/fixes appears to have been good.
  19. It would be cheesy yet awesome if they had the Bilbo Baggins song at the end of the movie.
  20. Thanatos and Hypnos are at the end of the Saint Seiya original manga series. They also appear in Saint Seiya Lost Canvas, and look a lot like Saga and Kanon in that series.
  21. I want the multi-puprose destroid from M0. Was it the Cheyenne? That one was awesome!
  22. To the pitchforks and torches! I've got ice cream! XD HG and Toynami still causing us Macross fans grief almost a decade after the 1/72 Macross Plus valkyries. I wonder if the VF-11B gunpod is going to have the bayonet...
  23. They're supposed to be robes, but damn does it look like a puffy white dress... Totally take any hint of threat away from Thanatos. I half expect that toy to be wearing pansy red booties under that dress.
  24. Well for clarification, it scares me sh**less to see the 19 that way, because I have one here on my desk and it hurts to think of it dismantled like that. I know ghostkiller is going to do an awesome job on customizing it, but when I see that pic I go: "ooooh! "
  25. Ranka does remind me of a dog, interpret it as you like. I like and dislike the VF-171 gerwalk mode. I like it better than the VF-17 gerwalk with the arms flipped back, but it still looks... off. I do like that battroid, even in the soso pose. Maybe they're bringing in the fleet of strongest women? Or a fleet led by a young Miria clone.
