Pre-curse Shampoo from Ranma 1/2. She can fight, she can cook, her great-grandmother is cool (scary looking but cool), and she doesnt have any deep rooted problems like the eva character. I don't think she's stupid, although a lot of people do because she doesn't speak good Japanese/English (see if you speak native fluently after a month or so of learning), in fact she is quite intelligent. But I'm married and my wife kicks ass. I love my wife.

I mostly play Japanese games anyway. I might as well just get a japanese system or a boot disc. Oh man this thing looks like ass. The character design reminds me of that Angel Links thing that I saw ads for some years ago and was so unimpressed I made sure not to watch it. That spaceship looks like crap, as bad as the mecha in gakutsuo (if not worse). Cleavage and boobies can be cool and all. But, if the character design and animation quality is crap, what's the point?

When I hunt for the "cheaper" toys (like certain characters from star wars, the standard figures) the getting it was never satisfying enough, because it wasn't really worth it. Now, when I go for the big things, the high quality things... Oh man, it can be so damned satisfying. Like getting myself a VF-1A Low vis v1 for around original retail price, months after they were sold out everywhere. That was really satisfying. But for standard toys, the hunt doesnt feel worth it if you even manage to find that figure you're looking for. Besides, toy stores aren't as cool as they used to be (probably because I'm older now, I appreciate higher quality things and standard kids stuff annoys me, and there's few cool toys). Speaking of quality, I always hated while I was growing up the low quality of figures. The sculpts always sucked, figures came with GIANT weapons that launch big stupid red missiles. The Terminator 2 line and Aliens line annoyed the hell out of me as a kid. Hicks didn't have a bazooka! Where's his pulse rifle?! There were no other animal aliens in the alien series except the dog-burster alien. Where the hell did the rhino, gorilla, and snake alien come from?

bsu legato, on rebelscum MRAmy announced (after much harassment about the subject) that MR does plan on doing a CE of the boba fett blaster. BUT, the plan could still change and be cancelled. AND, it won't come out 2006. It's big. It's something like 32" long.

Well the CE was announced at the same time as the LE and SE blaster. It doesnt mean it'll be released at the same time, said the MR rep on rebelscum a while back (it was MR Amy or Bryan). So keep waiting you might be able to pick up a Boba Fett CE and maybe you'll have the money to do it then!

Yeah I got the MR email, it's gonna be die-cast. Yes there are guys out there biotching that it's going to raise the quality of the CE lightsabers too much. I can't believe that people could get angry about a product having higher quality! They don't want the LEs value to be threatened in any way...

It's a given that yamato would make a VF-0S regardless, I mean they're making it anyway. How would they be retarded enough to not make Roy's valk? The 0D is nice. As long as it comes with a deadgar pilot gummy for me to mash, stab, set on fire, and put some little poky stuff into.

Honestly I wouldnt want one of the screen used props, because in person a lot of them do look like ass. That's why I prefer the MR replicas, because they're a more idealized version of what we see on screen. I often mess around with my Anakin ROTS FX lightsaber, so yeah mine has a high replay value. It's a good thing it can't cut through blast doors, or I would be stumpy like Anakin. I heard some news about material changes in the Qui-gon Jinn CE lightsaber, but I have to confirm this since I haven't received the April newsletter from MR yet. edit: unless they remake the original trilogy, there's not really a point in remaking and redesigning the OT props since a lot of people wouldnt buy them because they werent in a movie. I do prefer the Anakin ROTS lightsaber over the Luke ANH and ESB lightsaber (even though all three are supposed to be the same lightsaber, yet look vastly different if you know the design), same with the Obi-wan ROTS lightsaber. I like the use of old stuff to create futiristic stuff. A sten-gun with crap glued on it becomes a stormtrooper blaster. A faucet handle, machine-gun booster, flashgun clamp, rifle grenade, and engine balance pipe become the Obi-wan Kenobi lightsaber (god damn I like lightsabers too much). A tommy gun and shotgun are put together in a new body to form the M-41A pulse rifle from Aliens (one of my favorite sci-fi guns and favorite movies). Well, I like the use of old stuff to create futuristic stuff when done right and done well. But I do prefer the designs of stuff in the PT of star wars, like lightsabers that don't have boxes on them until ROTS, easier to grip handles, sleeker looking stuff. I actually don't like the look of the OT lightsabers. Dey ugly. It's just a matter of taste, craziness, and money. I buy toys from 20 year old "cartoons". comickaze, I do see where you're coming from. consider star wars prop fans to be another branch of us crazies!
