I am on board for maybe another 2 of these depending on the pricing. I already have 2x of these but one had an arm fall off on first transformation due to bad Die-cast . I could not get a replacement as Yamato had closed it's doors so fast after the release.

Damn, looks to be about double the price at Nin nin, I refuse to use them ever again they screwed me on the avalanche weapons+. -

I have 2x of the S variant and 3x of the D variants and fast packs for them all. Made sure I had spares for my Diamond force incase of some failure or another.

Arcadia and Yamato seem to understand the made to order concept so I doubt it creates a pre-order madness situation...

I would say keep the faith and check all of the standard online shops in Japan. I am sure there will be more available, especially for how long the pre-orders were open.

Well I guess that is the kind that you try to keep bent over On a more serious note, I am glad for the reissue for one it will allow all that missed it to not get raped on secondary market pricing. The other reason is that the first time around I bought 2 and one of them had the arm fall off with no resistance. I think the die-cast had a bubble in it and it just separated without any pressure at all . I left that one in fighter mode as it will still stay on in fighter mode and I also kept it around in case I needed spare parts for the good one I had.

I think the stuff gets fixed when you activate mainline missions is my theory. I destroy everything including coms, power generators, mobile lighting rigs and the anti air radar. When I travel around all the outposts are dark and all they have is a barrel of fire for lighting most of the time. Currently all of my platform crews are ranking anywhere from 21 - 23, but I think I can level them up faster by playing the main missions and kidnapping higher skilled officers. I did notice when I played the mission where you have to spy and kill/extract the 3 commanders in the village over again it did cause the map to sort of reset.

I have found that thew way I was playing caused this most of the time. I was doing way too many side missions and developing my base while neglecting the main missions. The only time I had them come back was after the mission where they reinforce after I extracted the 3 commanders from that village. I notice that the adaptive A.I thing can be tricked?, I was playing in a way where I was sniper happy and killing tons of guys on the free mode during the night missions. they adapted to that by adding night vision goggles body armor and helmets and added snipers to the outposts and bases. I started using my heli for fire support and that was working until they added missiles. Then I changed my tactics completely although I had unlocked a ton of heli upgrades I could not customize it yet. I started hitting them during the day, but was using tactical take downs and stopped killing the soldiers and using the Fulton to capture any of the skilled soldiers. What is weird is I have a ton of stuff I should not have yet like Quiet by accident. My platforms are currently maxed out with 65 soldiers per unit as I went crazy on the base upgrades really early on. I was playing a certain part of the map a lot when they loaded up on heavier gear, but now I went back to the parts you explored early on and they are all wearing the standard tan uniforms which makes it super easy in those areas. I just completed mission 8 the other night and need to complete 9-10, and as I mentioned I accidentally did mission 11 way early during an exploration/kidnapping mission as I needed a ton of warm bodies after dismissing all the troublemakers once the medical deck was unlocked.

If I did not have 6 already on order I might have bought one from HLJ. I'm glad all of the late people can get one if they missed all the other openings.

Back to the scale talk: Yamato vs Bandai. Bandai did have the luxury of having full CG/CAD designs to work with so I would expect them to scale properly across the whole line, but why were the version ones so off?. The stuff that was mentioned here for comparison that Yamato made was all based in the days of drawing lineart, so in reality it would look good in all 3 modes in ink, but if you tried to put it together in a toy you would have to make sacrifices to make it all work. So I would expect toys that are designed from an era of hand drawn designs to be off in one way or another.

I get where you are coming from Mark, but really the issue with the DX chogokins is that everyone and their mom were scalping them. They would last 30 seconds if even because all of the scalpers snapping them up and most likely using a bot to do so. If you participate in any of those pre-orders you will see that right after a site is dead like Amiami the scalpers put up auction listings almost immediately. I actually don't sell the toys, but there were a couple times where a member on here wanted one of my extras and sold them to them. I think it was the Alto Armor parts for the VF-25 renewal and the Yamato VF-17 Supers, other than that I have everything I bought. *while writing this post your replied again* I saw both of your apologies btw.

This is nothing new with HLJ, they often open up days later than anyone else. No one mentioned AE last night, did it ever go live there?

OK, I folded and got another 3 from CDJ. I had so much time to press place order it's almost weird feeling And with that good night!
