    I pre-ordered 2 and chose pay later, but I could only choose that option if I selected to pay with JPY. Initially Iteied USD and it wanted me to pay now. I scrapped that order and re did it but now it shows that orde was cancelled due to non payment. So if this line is based off of DYRL, wouldn't that mean the VF-1J armored is not necessarily Hikaru? I have not watched DYRL in a long time, but I always thought the armored 1J that was shown was not Hikaru but a shot of the "extras" fighting to defend the SDF-1.

    Weirdly enough David, I have not heard of an announcement which baffles me. Normally Bandai milks us for all the add on parts.

    Bankruptcy would suck for all of us imo. It would give one mfg the whole 1/60 pt toy market and that is always a bad thing in any industry. Once there is only one they tend to get complacent and quality goes down without competition.

    I know how you feel Archie, I can be very OCD about things too. I did not even think to expect ratcheting joints on this due to the size, but that would have been a great idea if it was possible. I don't think I have encountered a valk this small with ratcheting joints before.

    I get wanting a gunpod for the release, but I always felt like the VF-4 was designed with conformal gear in mind. I mean you have main guns built in to the nacelles and the conformal missiles all over the body and when it transforms you end up with the main guns near the hands (underneath) making it a point and shoot design. The overall design is meant to be very sleek in fighter mode. On the other hand though, I have so many VF-1's that I can spare a gunpod for a VF-4 in battroid mode if I needed to.

    Oh damn, looks like I am getting one now lol! Glad I Decided to cancel the VF-2SS, would rather have this anyways with the proven quality track record I have seen so far with all the metal builds.

    Hey man I'm not poor yet, bring on maybe another few Macross series then we can talk I'm over the die-cast problem I had on one of my VF-4G's. It's now stuck in fighter mode and if I ever need spare parts they are there for the taking. Now that there is a reissue coming I can get 2 more and be over it even more . All in all though I did not really hear of any bad reports on the VF-4G.

    Haha, I buy everything so you may not want to base your decision off of me Oh actually I am cancelling my VF-2SS pre-order and I never cancel Macross pre-orders.

    Ughh, looks like it's time to cancel this one. I am not impressed with the updated photos of this thing. I was not impressed to begin with, but I had hopes they would improve it.

    I'm going all in on this line because I can fit a bunch on a shelf and have enemies to display with them all. I will still keep collecting the 1/60 stuff, you just can't beat them as far as wow factor goes.

    I kept mine in battroid mode since I got them, I think they are staying that way as I am scared to destroy them on the transformation back to fighter. On the plus side though, I have never really enjoyed playing with the 171's anyway bu they look nice though.

    I started back in '07-'08. My first post here was asking about the Yamato YF-19. I ended up getting 1x YF-19 and 1x YF-21 initially but ended up getting in to the Mac Zero and VF-1 v2 stuff. I have not looked back since. Every year it seems I am close to done and then they release something else that I have to have. Now that Delta is about out, it starts all over again.

    Ollie Barder is a MW member here, he has made a few posts in the past. He actually posted a link to his Forbes article about Macross Delta in that thread I believe.

    I think I am keeping both of the Strike freedoms and getting the 4G's Spanner, click the link in my sig ("My Toy Collection"). It will take you to a google blog that I use to keep a list of everything I got besides my non Macross/Gundam related toys and figures. I will get to doing inventory on all my other stuff at a later date.
