    Do tell please, the amiami order is the second cheapest for me so far. The one I got on CDJ is by far the worst.

    HS open, got an order in. What's really sad is I got 3x of each item, 1 set from each site. Now to decided if I want to keep the amiami order or the CDJ. I know amiami might get mad and ban me but whatever.

    Did HLJ open like the other retailers with the gold frame like the other stores or were they delayed like with most DX Chogokins?

    Well it's the PW and the fact that it will show up about a month sooner or more.

    Cancelled one of my Strike freedoms on BBTS and got one on HLJ.

    I personally looked at these as test pieces while Jason gets all the wrinkles ironed out. By doing this Jason is able to identify any areas that would need refinement in the molds.

    I seem to always miss HLJ for these, so I think I will take a first/best come approach on this release. I think it's the fact that they open up late on a random day is why I always tend to miss HLJ though I would prefer to get mine there.

    I feel like the VF-1's stand up really well and don't really need a stand in Battroid mode. Stands are nice though for dynamic flight poses, but I would not rely on a Yamato/Arcadia or Bandai stand for that. Personally I can't stand the included Bandai stands and the Yamato/Arcadia stands that were included with certain valks like the YF-21/SV-51/Arcadia VF-1S Roy/Hikaru leave a lot more to be desired. If you really want a stand worthy of putting you valks on you should consider the yeti stands. I would suggest the flight pose stands but I had one eat paint off a valk before. Included stands feel like they were thrown in to help sell the product but I have never really been impressed with them.

    Haha, gotcha! This is the VFX version though and not the FB2012 version, so it did transform to battroid mode. I got used to the mode while I was playing the Macross ultimate frontier game on PSP. It also did not use a gun pod either in that game as far as I can remember. I used to feel the same about the battroid mode though, but since I got my first 2 on release one has stayed in battroid and the other one in fighter so I got used to it.

    Why would Spanner have to replace everything? I am damn sure holding on to all of my Yamato's even if Bandai released a VF-1 series.

    Ughh, and they sold out... I'm waiting for the JP based web shops to open up on this one I would not pay that for this. Are the boxes going to be different between the Tamashii nights version? Or are these marked up so high because people who are securing them? I thought I read that they were also releasing this one either web shop exclusive or general release.

    Yeah Graham is correct, the angle of the chest plate is not correct. It has been years since I touched any of my VF-17's but wasn't there another mechanism to correct the chest angle? I don't know why but I think it was supposed to slide forward some and the center part of the chest should be more flush. I think I used a video to do the transformation for the first time.

    Yes I have 2x of the 1J Armored and also noted the pilot. I also took that as being an unknown pilot.
