    Thanks for the suggestions! And yes, the wings do have white stripes and the front part of the small thruster on the hip does have a white color.

    So I guess I dodged a bullet here. I had one on the original pre-order, but canceled because it seemed like I could get better toys for the money. I thought about pulling the trigger when it went on 50% off, but again my gut told me there has to be a reason for the 50% off so I skipped it again. On top of my gut feeling, it looks like people are still unsatisfied with half off even. All in all this toy was not meant to be for me. I'm not a fan of Mac II, but have a love for transforming valkyries and that was my initial interest in this toy. Once I saw the updates before release I knew it was never going to live up to my expectations.

    I got 2 of the VF-1J CF's, but the first one I ever got has a factory tampo print error on the kite that is on the wing. I wonder if there is a way to remove it and replace it with a water slide decal. That is actually why I bought a second one.

    Maybe we should start a poll on that topic. I also get the feeling that most of the SDF-1/DYRL crowd is at least above 20 at least. I am sure there are some younger guys that may like the designs too.

    I got way too much stuff on order so I am also skipping the Olson release. Wish I could collect these too, but I way too many other toys that I want. Maybe we get luck and they reissue the Olson when the next one is announced.

    Damn,I was hoping they would remove the text completely from the plastic base when they decided to rename it to "mecha warrior". I knew somehow the Chinglish would mess up somewhere, they printed "mecha worrior" on the plastic base. We were talking about that topic in the Gundam figure thread.

    Awesome! I can't wait to have this together with the x-9 ghost and my other Yamato/Arcadia Macross plus stuff. I even ordered a painted Isamu's bike and Sharon Apple mainframe unit to go with these.

    I agree, I would prefer a complete line over multiple releases of different series toys. This could be the first time we have all the releases from a single series of toys ever, I hope they keep it up.

    So the issue of the pins scraping the cockpit canopy is present in the VF-0D and VF-0A? I have 2 of each but have not played with them. I did take out a VF-0D but it has never left fighter mode. If the problem is present, is there an easy way to fix those pins? I recall seeing pics where people where using tape to prevent it, but I would prefer a more permanent solution .

    I wish Arcadia would have kept the magnet gimmick for the leg packs on the YF-19 and the VF-0's.

    It's a stretch that I can get one of these as I have tons of other pre-orders, but I ordered one from HLJ anyway. Oh and btw if you are rich they are allowing 20x per order I personally like the red/white Orguss over the Orguss II olson special. It could be my bias though as the Orguss showed up in Macross

    When you order from BBTS it takes a while after release for them to get them. I really have only been using them if I miss out on a JP pre-order on these things. I will say though that they tend to jack up the prices on Tamashii web exclusives quite a bit. They also did the price gouging thing on the Metal build Exia Avalanche. The Hein Custom is going for 19,000JPY on the we shop. If it's a general release the price hike is not too bad considering they had to shop it over. I will reserve the general releases if I missed out just in case. If I see it open up on a JP shop, I cancel the BBTS order and order from JP. It cuts down on the delay. Sorry to hear about Unicorn Banshee being floppy. I have not taken any of mine out of the box. I wonder if that is a common complaint on that model? The only one I have touched is the original GFFMC Unicorn and it felt right to me, but all I did was transform it and then put it on its stand.

    I still think they should have just released the VF-1S Max with stand to keep it consistent. Although I have one, I am sure there are other collectors that missed out on the 1S Max. But maybe in Japan Max does not sell as well as Focker or Hikaru. I ended up ordering this anyway even though I have a ton of VF-1S Focker's and the VF-1S TV Focker scheme with Hikaru Pilot and TV Super parts. The Macross toy addiction is strong with this one.

    My wallet was screaming at me long before Saburo started posting pics on MW, although I do really love looking at his pic's. With him around I can keep stuff in the boxes due to space restraints. His pic's are better than the promotional materials that Bandai or Yamto/Arcadia have ever put out.

    But it covers the gerwalk thrusters when in other modes, thus is why I suggested Gerwalk thruster cover.

    If I was looking for this release I would bite, but I have a 1x of each type of GFFMC rule so I can save for other Macross related toys.

    Maybe they made the reissue 29 in the same factory that pumped out the YF-30. The guy who did the Tampo on the left shoulders thought he was doing it right the whole time because he did the ones on the 30 the way they asked him to.
