Crazy DHL is usually pretty fast for me sometimes even faster than fedex. I finally got around to checking the tampo printing on my copy and it's perfect. I'm still thinking that the ones with issues maybe still had wet paint possibly when they applied the labels or maybe there wan not enough catalyst in the paint?

Looks like both of my VF-31F's made it to San Fran already. Hopefully they both land by tomorrow while the wife is at home. They shipped from CDJ and Amiami. Looks like international shipping times are down atm giving us speedy shipping times.

Looks cool, I like the fact you can put bearings in the base to give it some heft.

Strange the nose cone is also in the darker color that the legs are in. It almost looks like they bashed a Yamato together with new Arcadia parts.

Paid for my 31F @ Amiami last night and already have a shipping notice from CDJ. I decided to cancel my 3rd one from HLJ.

I dunno, I feel a bit skeptical of those breaks, I mean that looks like someone really tried to make sure the clips broke. But what do I know... I don't plan to buy any of these anyways, I have 2x sets from Yamato already.

You're supposed to apply all the shipping bubble wrap to the outside to repel the rain. Now if you live in hurricane or tornado country I can't offer any advice

I will agree these are probably the best looking SD VF-1's i've probaly seen, but i'm not really in to the SD toys although I did buy the Makuros and I bought VF-11B that was put out a few years back at Macross World Con. The Makuros was really an impulse buy that I never even removed from the box. I did truly like the looks of the VF-11B though. Even if I like these I'm still going to say that I would't buy them. Any company that prevents Macross from shipping to these shores needs to go bankrupt IMO. Please don't take offence to my views on this topic, I actually grew up on Robotech but the internet came out and I discovered the truth.

You guys should both do what I do with my over abundance of collectibles... Build a house with the boxes, my rooms are so big and I have infinite storage space. I'm all about those renewable resources

I know right, this is one of the times where I feel like the unit number Tampo is a bad thing. I have a bunch of multiples in this series but want them all to have different modex/unit identifiers. I can't complain though as it's a great thing to have, especially if you are in to buying singles.

that is so true about the blood. Something on this toy got me, but I can't remember what it was. I haven't touched one of mine since these were released. I bought Diamond force and put them all in Battroid mode and left them there.

My gut tells me there will be a very slight pink hue if in the right lighting conditions.

Hmm, I think I may go for a Roy Premium finish version as I already got Hikaru on pre-order. I would like Arcadia just move over to doing the premium finish by default.

Spanner, I am in the same boat. I have had way too many toys coming in and the shipping is getting out of control too plus I have had a lot of "life" stuff happening that seems to be draining the wallet. I just got my PW shipment today that contains my single Draken and may open it up just to check the tampo on the parts with the plastic sheets attached. I have ultimately decided that I may just keep it to one copy of each Draken at this point in time. I'm still on the double/triple train with the VF-31's though.

I have some 1/48's and all of the Yamato v2's. I love the 1/48's and will never get rid of them, but damn are the v2's such an overall improvement. I like the Fighter mode the best on the 1/48's but feel the nose cone is a bit too long in Battroid mode and the Gerwalk mode imo is not as good as the v2's. Also the V2's dont suffer from the arm droop in fighter mode and the Super parts are easier to attach/remove imo. To each their own, but once I got the v2 in hand I was corrupted and went full on v2 mode. I kept the 1/48 Armor sets in the 3 color schemes they came in with appropriate valks , the Super stealth and the low vis v1. I think I'm OK with just keeping those as Yamato never redid the Super Stealth, low vis v1 and v2. They also never revisited the Urban Camo and Woodland Camo.

I still don't think that makes it acceptable for this level of quality. Also I expect HG to price toys at a rip off price, they have been ripping off their fans for years I don't even see any of the Masterpiece models on the rt site, maybe you are quoting aftermarket prices?

I really need some Mospeada toys in my life, but I am not really excited for this release at all. With the way the last release went off and at the price it did there is no way hell this is a pre-order for me. I get they are a small company and endeavors such as these can cost a lot, but I feel like the pricing strategy is not in line with the quality of releases we have seen so far. Did they even fix issue's on any of the later released VF-22's? I'm not quite sure as I avoided that Cluster F*ck by cancelling my pre-orders from HLJ before it was released. I hope this is going to be a different story this time around, but I'm not getting that vibe so far. To anyone that is going to 100% commit to this toy, I hope it turns out to be a complete 180° from their previous offering. Maybe it will turn out to be that magical toy we all wish this to be.

I also complained about the color scheme on the Lil Drakens. I wish they matched the color scheme of the valk instead of that strange blue tone they chose. Don't get me started on the broken locking mechanism either. It seems that whole section was either engineered wrong or they used the wrong materials. I also noticed the Tampo issue some are having, I wonder if maybe they were slapping the plastic protective sheets on the tampo before it ever cured fully. I was going to buy another Keith but I may just do one of each for the Aerial Knights to complete a squad and at least one of the white Drakens.

Yeah, I thought I was getting the Unit 2 with command car but received the one without. I did get the command car with the Unit 1 though, so I'm not really gonna sweat it. So is this still on the menu? I wouldn't mind having one of the transports in the collection.

You guys are sweating for this release lol, I'm the guy here that has all of the Yammies except a reasonably priced Destroid Defender in the yellow shade I am glad everyone can finally get a set of these. Luckily I got a set of Yamato M&M for $250 shipped back in the day from a member here. I'll definitely get a set or 2 this time around too. If they have a detail up version I might get a set of those and a normal set.
