    Did anyone else notice the how the intakes are designed on the test mold? The covers look like they work in the anime's, individual slats that rotate to open and close. I hope Bandai can pull off that gimmick as I have been waiting a long time for one of the manufacturers to figure that out.

    All I have coming in though is the 1x combo set and the 2x Super Parts sets. HLJ ran out of the stand alone VF-17D's before I could get one. I will have to wait until they are back in stock

    The bar thing does make it look a bit weird, but I like fighter mode.

    Arrgh, and I'm sleepy lately. Must be the holidays kicking my ass It's actually the RVF-171 variant. I think if they made it, it would be a whole new release and most likely Lucas maybe first?

    My VF-17D with Super Parts set shipped from Amiami, and both of the VF-17 Super Parts sets I ordered from HLJ shipped last night.

    Honestly, I think they would be pretty ugly in the gloss finish. If they made a matte version though.... Too bad they would have to alter the molds.

    I hope this happens. I would also like to see an Armored VF-0S and a VF-0D for the Macross Zero 10th anniversary.

    I got them at HLJ, glad I didn't lull over the decision for too long:) I had them in my cart for a while. I was going to grab the valk that is actually labeled Diamond force too, but they were out of stock

    I think Yamato molded the plastic in color as usual. Pretty sure that was a test shot.

    C'mon Yamato, I need the blue and white VF-0D scheme and a VF-0S armored. That would be a true Macross Zero 10th anniversary tribute to me

    No offense taken. I agree that the blue is a darker shade. When I look at the CG's I tend to think the colors are more faded or dull looking as if from a scan. But when I look at the actual animation (episode 24) using a 6500k calibration I'm not really getting blue at all. It looks more like a charcoal without blue.... So I guess the real questions are, does Bandai use the cg's that are supplied to them? Or do they use the animation? I would think they don't use the animations at all, I mean look at the Macross Quarter they released. Where did they get the colors for that? Either way I think the toy still looks bad ass and I cant wait to add it to my 171. Time for a pic The princess wears armor

    I think it has to do with the 25's. It seemed like we got the announcements and some pics, then by the next morning all the pre-orders were closed lol.

    Oh I added 2x VF-17 Super Parts to my list.

    Don't get me wrong, I used to love devastator as a child and almost ended up trying to get one, but it did not fit in my collection. So if it were me Devastator would go on another shelf and all my Macross goods would be on that shelf.
