These are all model kits, but it's still considered a collection, right? Waiting to be built Not pictured: a 1/72 Elintseeker, and the 1/48 VF-19 SVF-569 Lightnings. (next to my workbench)

I know. I think, thanks to the Hasegawa kits, I'm finding a lot of the Yellow Sub/Club M 1/72 scale kits at outrageously low prices. Picked up a VT-1, and a VF-1 for around 3,000-4,000 yen each. Looking forward to building those eventually.

So, who here owns the 1/48 scale Ultimate Detail Strike Valkyrie from Club M? When did you buy it? How much? And are you ever going to build it? Or have you already built it? Post pictures please!! I don't know why, but I was thinking about this kit today. Last time I saw an original for sale was a few weeks ago on Yahoo Auctions, going for 100,000 yen. Gee, for some reason it didn't sell... I see a recast all the time for 25,000 yen.

I've got a wife who feeds my collection. For my birthday, she found one model kit on-line, and asked if I wanted it (resin VF-11 Super Battroid). I said "of course!" Birthday comes, and I get that kit... along with 5 others!! She knows I don't like the Bandai Frontier kits, so she grabbed me a couple of the classic reissues in 1/72, another Thunder Focus, and the 1/100 VF-2SS. Wonder what I would have gotten if I'd actually requested some kits?

For some reason, they're calling it "Sugar Rush" in Japan. Still would like to see it, though.

I've heard that this is a 3rd or 4th generation recast (recast of a recast of a recast....), and that everything about it is horrible. You're much better off waiting for Valk009's kit if you're interested in one.

The Yellow Submarine kit is 1/4000 scale.

Just grabbed this kit myself last time I was in Tokyo! The VF-4 from this line was my first try at resin, too. Left it with a friend of mine before I moved to Japan, though. Just managed to score the VF-17 through Valk009, looking for the other ones if anyone is interested in selling.

You can buy the Club M Vf-11 here. What ever happened to Tanmen, anyway? Tried to do a search on him a while back, and all I could find was the huge debacle that happened here about 10 years ago.

Happy birthday to me! In addition to an ear and nose hair trimmer (man, I really must be getting old to appreciate a gift like that!) my wife bought me these in addition to a 1/72 VF-11 Battroid resin kit. Have I ever said how much I love my wife?

The 0B is a 2 seater with the sweep wing, the 0C is a single seat with the delta wing.

For Taksraven, my vote goes to Fear Factory, but it's a very close vote. First time I ever heard of FF was when they opened for Seputura on the "Chaos AD" tour.
