    Oh yeah, I've already picked up a few bottles, and used burnt iron on the inside of the engines of the Phantom I'm building now. Yep, looks just like metal that gotten very hot!

    Didn't get a chance to see it, but I asked an on-line friend about it: "Good as a textbook of building VF-1 kits released in last decade (Hasegawa, Wave and Bandai) but no new-to-see paintings / markings and no life-like VFX photos as those in 'MF VF Modeling Manual'."

    Hm, I've got that kit, too. Actually, 2 of them! First one I built I wasn't quite up to the skill level of doing so, so when I found another one at a reasonable price, I grabbed it. Back on topic, just did a Google search, and I found their webpage. I'll send them a note asking what year the VF-11 kit was made, and let you know what they say.

    I saw several of the super packs available yesterday when I went out shopping, but none of the actual kit.

    Yeah, me too. I grabbed about 6 sets when I came across them in the Kotobukiya shop in Akihabara. The small ones on the legs are from the Battroid kit. The others are Kotobukiya.
