Soundtrack is horrible, visuals are nice. Shame it's not a real movie, but just a showing off of visual effects from Big Lazy Robot VFX.

Musashiya put out a 1/72 scale resin kit (with 3 non-scale battlepods) many years ago. Recasts are easy to find, originals not so much. EDIT: The Musashiya one has the armor packs, too. I think B-Club released one without.

I thought at one time Disney was going to produce a live-action film, only they were going to use the USS Arizona instead of the Yamato. -
He just put that on Shapways for fun. He is really printing and building one, though. 1/60 scale.

I didn't notice it either until I was test fitting the packs to the arm. Doh! The cannon extends back over the pack, so that messes up the original fit. There is room to play with, though. Compare the right side arms to the left side.

Looks a million times better than the first one of those I built! Good inspiration for the rebuild I'll eventually do.

Go for it!! I'd love to see what you could do with it. Be warned, though, it's designed for the Super packs only. You need to do some grabber arm shaving if you want to put a Strike in it.

Just showed up as a pre-order on another recast site (not naming names, find it yourself if you're so inclined). Now, recast of the original, or recast of the other KP recast? Looks like they're using KP's pics as a product description, which would be fitting since he stole pics to begin with.

The estimated delivery on mine from Amazon says December 1~3. On the 1/48 Super/Strike it's January 1~3.
