If you're looking at trying to make your own custom water-slide decals, I recommend these (or these). Only drawback is that you have to use a laser printer, but they work pretty well, especially for a novice like me (when it comes to decal making). Just print your images, and you're done. No need to apply a top-coat before soaking in the water. 10-15 seconds of hot water, and you're good to go! I used the clear, and they are clear, so you'll have to make sure your base coat of the decal area is either white or light grey for the best results.

OK, so has anyone put a model kit on there yet? If there's no paint-eating problem with those, then I may place an order for a couple.

Probably in 2 weeks or so. I re-boxed my 1/32 scale Phantom, since the weather turned too cold to paint with the window open, and it's too big to fit in my fume hood. Right now, I've got a goofy little project going on that I'll share after I give it away (present for my favorite band, who's coming to town in 2 weeks).

I'm very interested. Had a lot of fun with the 1/72 scale one. One bit of advice, though. Be careful with the gripper fingers if you want to make a Strike fit in here. The cannon rides high over the Fast Pack, so you'll need to adjust for that. See here: Of course, I didn't realize that bit of info until I was almost completed with the build.

One thing I noticed. On the instructions, they already have a segment for "Parts Not Used". What's circled are the intake shutters, in the closed position. No need for Hasegawa to produce them, if they weren't going to be used. Future release for a Super/Armored Messiah?

Hey, look at what arrived tonight. Bandai vs. Hasegawa. Really no contest which is the better. Going right to the top of the build pile, after I finish my 1/32 Phantom, and a silly truck idea I've got planned.
