  1. Look under "Movies and TV Series".
  2. I've still got the regular VF-1, VF-1A Super, and VF-1S Strike waiting to be built. When the Hasegawa kits came out, the price on these really dropped. I don't think I paid more than 3000 yen for them.
  3. OK, here's everything I've got. If you're interested, let's PM.
  4. Wow, two completed builds on the same page! Guess a heavily cut work schedule was good for something! Here's the latest addition to my collection. A 1/72 scale VT-1 Super Ostrich resin kit from Yellow Submarine & Club M. Yes, it's a bit dated compared to the Hasegawa's, but it's still fun to give these old kits a little love. Besides, I can always use more practice with resin. The Minmei figure did not come with the kit, it's one from Studio Starforge. As usual, more can be seen here.
  5. It should fit, but don't quote me. When I was using it, I had it hooked up to a generic compressor I had bought at Wal Mart or someplace like that. No work tomorrow, so I'll go ahead and post some pics of what I've got.
  6. I've got a Paasche VLS set that I could let go for stupidly cheap. Just been sitting in a box for the past 10 years, taking up space. I can post actual pics of it if you're interested in a few days (going out of town).
  7. Dude, she's over 80 years old. Cut her a little slack.
  8. I've seen the VF-0 build video before. Very good to show someone how to panel line wash.
  9. How would a 1/72 scale kit look on one of these? I have zero toys, but plenty of Macross model kits that could use a cool stand.
  10. Fixed it! Well, good enough for government, at least. Also reacquainted myself with an old friend I haven't used in a while. Had trouble with it sticking to canopies a little too well, but it peels right off this kit, and doesn't take my paintjob off like the Tamiya masking tape was.
  11. Ah, ya gotta go old school baby!! The original 1/500 kit from Bandai.
  12. Not that I could tell, and I thought I had washed everything down real well before hand. Well, the only way you get better is by coming up against challenges like this.
  13. Progress and setbacks. Sometimes resin can be a real pain in the butt to work with.
  14. Finished up Hikaru and Minmei, and got the base coat on the VT-1 down.
  15. My wife's cousin's husband went to school with Oizumi-san, and are still friends. He was invited to the wedding, but couldn't make it due to a filming schedule. Who knows, maybe someday I will get a chance to meet him in person.
  16. Dave Brockie, dead at 50. Keep carrying on, Oderus; keep carrying on.
  17. Sorry, but when I hear Jem, all I think about is Jiz!! (you probably don't want to watch this where someone else can hear it)
  18. I've heard that if you spray Easy Off oven cleaner in a bag, then seal the parts in the bag overnight, the paint will come off easily. Test before trying, though, since I have no practical experience with that.
  19. Not bad progress for 3 days worth of building.
  20. Thank you. Sometimes I can royally mess up the big stuff, but the small stuff like pilots I really have a lot of fun doing.
  21. Going old-school.
  22. Yay! A Messiah kit that doesn't suck!! More can be seen here. OK, this kit did give me some trouble. The decals are not up to Hasegawa's usual standards. Had a lot of them not stick very well. BUT, it still blows the Bandai monstrosity out of the water. On a side note, funny how the first day after my job ends, I finally finish a kit....
