  1. Ah, that kind of stinks. I paid ¥7000 for mine at Mandarake Sapporo, thinking it wouldn't have anything. Looking through it later while eating lunch, stuck in the middle was the poster, film strip, a January to June 1986 calendar the size of a credit card from "Arion" (アリオン), and a cassette tape insert from Megazon 23 Part 2! No idea how I managed to get all of that at less than original retail price.
  2. 2 possibilities for getting one. 1. After the Gerwalk kit is released, they'll sell it separately. 2. After the Gerwalk kit is released, I could order the stand parts directly from Hasegawa as a "replacement".
  3. Couple more Bandai model kit preview shots.
  4. So, what's your filmstrip scene? I've got Hikaru wandering in his flight suit (helmet off) after his crash in the SDF-1.
  5. Yes, the display stand is included with the kit.
  6. Sweet!! New photos!
  7. There has been no news at all about a Battroid in 1/48 scale from Hasegawa. The only ones I've seen are modified fighter kits.
  8. Preview of Bandai's 1/72 X-Wing kit.
  9. Ama, the bass player from Galmet, singing a Galmet song in karaoke, with vocalist Miki singing backup.
  10. I wonder if they really are coming from Japan, since it stated to me when I looked that they won't ship to Sapporo.
  11. I still crank it up loud and rap along when this shows up on my music player.
  12. All I got was a "Team Fortress 2" vibe from the gameplay trailer.
  13. I was wrong in an earlier post. THIS is the Gerwalk box art!!!!!
  14. "Could it be you're afraid of what your friends might say If they knew you believe in God above? They should realize before they criticize that God is the only way to love" Yep, nothing more evil than that! (After Forever) I too like planes that turn into robots!
  15. Started priming and painting. Shouldn't take me as long as I thought it would. Lately, I'd been having problems with my masking removing the prime and paint job on resin kits, so this one I thought I'd just stick with Mr. Surfacer instead of Mr. Resin Primer. Mr. Surfacer seems to be sticking a lot better than Mr. Resin Primer ever did, which is weird since you'd think it'd be the other way around. Sorry, but no more pics until I'm finished.
  16. Any updates?
  17. Let's see, already built Hikaru's VF-1J, so I picked up another one recently so I can take the yellow decals and S head from the Strike/Super Kit and make a TV Roy VF-1S. Waiting on the launch arm availability before I start on the VF-1A Super.
  18. I think that's the reason I've been seeing many of the 1/3000 Yamato assembly kits popping up on Yahoo Japan auction recently.
  19. Yeah, gotta give the old school kits some love sometimes, though they can frustrate the hell out of you!!
  20. Primary build is done, puttied what needs to be puttied. Sand tomorrow probably, then on to prime and paint; probably about a month's work there.
  21. The building on this kit is pretty easy. It's the detailing that's gonna take some time.
  22. I really, really, really would love to look though your unbuilt resin kit collection. With a full wallet. And you hopefully open to offers...
  23. That's what I'm shooting for, but those ARMD's are gonna be a bitch to paint. EDIT- Oh yeah, and I've only got 1 leg/engine left to build (probably finish it today), then on to putty, prime and paint.
  24. 900 classic arcade games, free to play. Some work well with just your keyboard, others not so much.
  25. Not too bad for only 2~3 days worth of building. The part I'm really not looking forward to is painting the ARMD's. The decks are marked very faintly, really going to have to be careful with my masking.
