  1. Probably early summer.
  2. "This music is slow and fat." - Beavis & Butt-head
  3. First build completed for 2015! Had this sitting on my shelf for a few years, finally decided to go ahead and build it. Very quick and easy.
  4. Actually, on the 1/48's you can fit the thrusters in after you get the legs finished. It's the 1/72's that you have to finish that part off first, then mask off for the rest of the build.
  5. Got an excellently detailed 1/48 scale launch arm kit for the Hasegawa Super Valkyrie kit. Probably going to be an early summer project for me. Hmmm, now what LED's am I going to need??
  6. Because someone wasn't as careful as he should have been while washing the parts. I think they went down the drain with a load of soapy water and excess resin bits.
  7. You don't need to look too far for a Yellow Submarine build-up.
  8. Color pics are up! Sorry, but the more I look at it, the more I like my Yellow Sub version better.
  9. More detail on the AT-ST and the regular TIE Fighter
  10. Not backstage. Those were after the show when they come out, close up the merch booth, and chat with the fans for a while. EDIT- Here's a pic of Ayano (left side guitarist) and me showing off our tattoo work after that show.
  11. I'm the bald guy in the front row, between the lead singer Miki and right side guitarist Ruki
  12. 1/72 scale TIE Fighter 1/12 scale R2-D2 and R5-D4 1/48 scale AT-ST
  13. This was my gateway drug. I had Roboblech (only the Macross part) and the original Streamline dub of Akira in my collection, until I rented the Japanese version of this movie. That was all I needed to know that Japanese sounded really cool, and I want to study it more. Now I've been here for 10 years.
  14. If you haven't noticed yet, you'll also have to fill in a big gap on the main guns ball joint area. I just cut a bit of styrene sheet, glued it in, and Tamiya puttied to fit. You lose a little bit of gun movement with that, so get it into the position you like before gap filling.
  15. That's why I gave up building when I had room-mates.
  16. Here's an interesting mod to the Gerwalk kit.
  17. I've got the whole set of 4 that I'll be starting soonish. Old school kits, just go to give them a little more care and attention. Looks nice what you did.
  18. So, here's what I built the past year: 1/72 scale VF-25S Messiah from Hasegawa 1/72 scale VT-1 Super Ostrich from Club M/Yellow Submarine 1/72 scale SV-51, Nora Type from Hasegawa 1/72 scale VF-11B Thunderbolt with Boosters from Hasegawa and Club M 1/72 scale Tactical Pod Regult from Bandai 1/48 scale VF-1S from Hasegawa 1/32 scale F-4J Phantom II from Tamiya 1/100 scale VF-2SS Valkyrie II from Bandai 1/4000 scale SDF-1 from Yellow Submarine So, what did y'all complete this year?
  19. Awesome! So, when do orders open??
  20. I saw it recently on a flight, too. It wasn't the steaming pile I thought it would be, but it wasn't good, either. I swear the Japanese dialog was figured out by running it through Google translate, and practicing by playing the "hear it" button. And, also yet again a screenwriter has no idea whatsoever of Japanese immigration law. Speaking as someone who has gone through it, it REALLY annoys me seeing movies get it wrong!
  21. Hmm, pilot is it's own sprue, and I've got a VF-1S kit that I'm not going to be doing anything with now. TV Roy time?
  22. Yes, the Promodelers wash is nothing but finely ground clay in a water suspension. Nothing toxic or caustic at all.
