    Yeti, When you get your own laser cutter, you'll be able to do the wall mounts in clear, correct? Looking at my display areas, and I think those are going to be the best bet for me. Also, do you think down-scaling your adapters to 1/72 would work for the Hasegawa model kits?

    Won't work for the Macross kits. They're only available in Japan, so spare parts would have to come from there. [edited for improper word usage]

    Taking a little Macross break Will probably be the last kit I build for a few months. Winter in Sapporo is not all that conductive to painting. Got plenty of Nanoblock kits to build, and a papercraft SDF-1 to tide me though till Spring.

    I just checked at Sapporo Cinema Frontier, and only Friday is sold out. Plenty of reserved seats available for the rest of opening weekend. And yes, people here do follow the assigned seating.

    Huh. I used that on my Fine Molds Y-Wing, and it didn't give me any trouble.

    My main "go to" scale is 1/72, but these were too fun to pass up on. Actually, this is the second time I've built the VF-4. The first time was about 15 years ago, and it was the first resin kit I ever built. Gave it to a friend before I moved to Japan. I'd like to think I did a much better job this time around!

    The build, or the fact that I seem to be constantly re-tweeted with these? As Shawn stated, it just seems like there are not many of these built floating around out there, and maybe none of them all together. Be fun to be proved wrong about that, though. Curious to see what others have done.
