  1. I don’t know why we ended up talking about languages but I can tell you English is one of the simplest ones around, probably due to its very basic grammar. This is one of the reasons –not the most important though- for having become the current lingua franca. I can speak 4 languages and can more or less understand other 3, but English is certainly not the hardest –although it’s probably in the group of the other 3 :-P I started learning Japanese some years ago and while I can’t tell I remember anything at all I seem to remember it wasn’t too complicated. Sadly enough, I haven’t got the time to start all over again, so I was expecting you to come out with some MTF translations one of these days, any chance of it?
  2. Cool! These miniatures are amazingly detailed!
  3. Same breaking place. Same broken leg. Same lubrication advice. Same decaling. Same hands. Same English. He must be the same
  4. It looks great! Congratulations and thanks for sharing!
  5. Very interesting, thank you!
  6. Indeed. I guess that’ll be a good reason for toy companies to keep improving the quality of their production.
  7. ...and what was visible was: Your item has just DEFOLDED!!!
  8. Fortunately, I think it's not been like that with Yamato so far, I hope they don't start now.
  9. Ohhh!!!! That's fantastic!
  10. I was actually talking about Yamato's. The v.1 VF-25 just doesn't count for it's so badly designed. Wait and see the v.2 SP. Exactly.
  11. Yes, I have two, actually. Nice description though
  12. You mention two possible solutions –only one of them being realistic considering the way the legs have been designed IMO- but then you seem to suggest they’ve chosen a third one. I’m glad you’re happy with the solution they adopted but, unfortunately, nobody else can have an objective opinion yet. I like how the SP look and I’m definitely getting them. Too bad they’re the first SP that need to be removed for transformation.
  13. Actually, I’m asking that because I have looked at the line art. The line art shows a hinge so the leg parts can swing from the underside of the wings to the outer side of the legs in a very simple way. The VF-17 toys have big slots for the SP connection and I thought hinges similar to those of the line art would easily do the job. Unless, as I understand you are implying, the leg parts are poorly engineered.
  14. Mmmm, I can see the necessity of removing the back parts in order to be able to release the arms, but I can’t imagine a reason for doing the same with the leg parts yet…
  15. Looks like you’re smoking really good stuff
  16. Awesome. Have you considered the possibility of adding some detail on the inner side of the legs? They look a little bite bare IMHO. It only occurred to me after comparing it to the other valks, anyway.
  17. I believe so too.
  18. I agree. The VF-27 isn't perfect but still a good enough toy IMO. I'd like to see lots of other things -new and renewed- before a retooled VF-27.
  19. I like how it looks so far, Ignacio.
  20. Cool8or wrote the city's name in Spanish, presumably because he's from Chile.
  21. Great find. Now Yamato should know what to do.
  22. Great job, veef. Thank you very much.
