  1. It’s obvious that you love the Hi-Metals as many of us do; but you can´t be so naïf as to think Bandai made a perfect VF-1 out of nothing. Do you really think Bandai didn’t take a Yamato v.2 to see what’s ok and what’s not and concentrate in what could be improved? Anyway, I would not go so far as to define the Yamato valks as subpar.
  2. It was also discussed here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=5140&hl=rafaga SK did design this “Rafaga” for the game. Have you noticed the font style they’ve used for “Strategic Variable Fighter”?
  3. Did you know you don’t need to pay in advance but until just 2/3 weeks before the actual release? I've never had any problems with Nippon-Yasan if that's of any use to you
  4. I just got the bill to pay for the Super Parts set from Nippon-Yasan.
  5. Don't forget he also worships the RT novels
  6. It can’t be possible! Roy always dies! That was pretty awesome, Ron; I’m adding this to my favourites on YouTube!

  13. I’m sorry for those who can’t stand the chest gap by gerwalk_w
  14. These videos by Yamato’s Mr K. have proven to be very useful. Pay special attention to #3. #1 #2 http://www.youtube.c...n&v=B4PwhDXy9ho #3
  15. So you think these models aren’t the ones the Japanese fandom was expecting for? These are the 3 more iconic valks from the SDF:M series that commemorates its 30th anniversary this year so it makes sense they re release them first. Then they’ve got the whole year for the rest of them and I guess until 2014 for the DYRL stuff.
  16. Beautiful model, great pic!!! Thanks for sharing!
  17. No, but Yamato’s been advised to delay all the Macross7 related releases till the end of the year.
  18. If it’s a matter of preferences that’s ok, but while I don’t really mind the Hi-Metal profile configuration, I think that regarding line art accuracy the Yamato toy has the lerx better situated. Of course, the smaller scale of the Hi-Metal probably doesn’t give much room for these rather fanciful details. Source: Scorched Earth Toys
  19. I hadn’t heard of this contest before, had you? http://hobby.dengeki.com/contest/mac_con/index.html http://hobby.dengeki.com/20120328/3702-news/ https://ssl.asciimw.jp/dengeki/hobbyweb/macrossr/
  20. I think a stick would be more than enough.
  21. This is one of the most prejudicial opinions I've heard lately... Looking good. I liked the first episode.
