    I bought them some time ago for another project and I can tell you they won’t fit your VF-1 v.2s. They are extremely big. If you want I could post some pics later.

    I started buying from them before the VF-171 –my first purchase was the SP set for VF-25F IIRC. By that time they only had around six Macross products in total. Just a few months later they have 57, including some stuff you won’t easily find elsewhere. I’ve never paid scalper’s prices although it’s probably because I haven’t bought any Bandai’s VF.

    This would have certainly looked much better if they had simply used a little piece of tinted clear plastic.

    It is possible with a little manipulation, although it is a bit difficult when the neck joints are still stronger than the grip of the pin to which it is attached. Before transformation from fighter to battroid mode you have to extend the head out of the nosecone in order to have the extra room you need to release the swinging bar and fit the laser through the hole.
