I think the original release already was a V1.5. As Bandai seem to have corrected its only main flaw I cannot see a reason for not to call this re-release a V2. The landing gears were OK, only that the front one didn't lock in position.

I think that piece belong to the Gerwalk mode thigh joint. You probably got an extra one...
