Ouch!!! I thought there were some news about the DX YF-21!!! 🤦♂️😝
-
Well, I guess Arcadia (should I say T-REX?) tried to figure out a way to get the wings to touch each other when folded in battroid mode and this is the solution they came up with. I'm OK with that as long as they can improve somewhat over what they've done with the YF-19.

I think it looks nicer that way. The gerwalk joints are very unnatural IMO, I try to avoid using them as much as posible...

You know what? I don't even like the legs. I think the lower parts, those that are over the feet, are very poorly designed and absolutely non canonical.
-
It's funny, because lots of people like this prototype but it still has kind of skinny legs... As if really overdimentioned bulky legs weren't reeeally necessary...

From the WF pics I can see there are two head designs. I personally like the newer one more.

And then Bandai releases the HMR VF-4, VF-0 and VF-19Kai... 😆

YES!!!!

Ha ha ha!!! So true. They also seem to have found a cleverer way to attach the the gun to the fighter and the fighter to the stand. Seriously, I really wonder what's the deal between Bandai and Arcadia.

No ono one wins, no one loses, we are talking about a toy, based on hand-drawn drawings of an imaginary ship, the proportions of which the author could never nor did he need to accurately transfer to animation, because 40 years ago it was neither easy nor important , and in fact they changed all the time.

About the length of the main guns, IMO they're ok, I don't like it when they stick out too much in battroid mode... I think it looks pretty close to the line art, but considering the transformation, there's probably some degree of compromise regarding some proportions.

60cm!!??? What does it tell us about the scale? What's the length of the Arcadia one?
