Actually, I think he "survived". I looked at his spark chamber that he ripped out of his chest, and it's still clearly glowing in the scenes that it is visible on the ground (as Optimus is getting upgraded). He might get a new body in the next movie.

It's called "stupid amounts of confusion over which F-22 is Starscream from the first movie". That and Michael Bay's shooting style doesn't really make it easy on you to spot the 'con.

If I had to guess, I think the panels would swing around so that the hand can grasp the gunpod and pull it out of it's holster (and put it back again). I'm gonna have to pass on the VF-22. It's cool and all, but I try not to get multiples of VFs. The VF-1 being the sole exception, of course.

Actually, the YF-19 should at least be able to transform to gerwalk mode with the arm pack attached. I don't think the extra hardware should get in the way of anything that's moving about.

It's probably some engineer's idea of a joke. An awesome joke. The "bra" probably "falls off" as the plane goes faster.

Bought my ticket online for the local 10:40 IMAX showing. For me, it's almost right after work, as I finish at 8:30 in the morning. Luckly, the theater is about a 5 minute walk from my workplace. Can't wait!!!! -

I think they may get fined (and a big one too) for falsifying a customs declaration. For me, customs is a roll of the dice. Sometimes, I don't pay customs (like when I got my videocard from the USA), sometimes I do. It all evens out in the end. -

I'm using an old Marvin Martian mousepad (nice thick neoprene) that I got for my birthday about 12-13 years ago, and it works just fine with my mouse. I have an interesting electronic question. I wear headphones while I work, and somehow the rubber in the cord dries out real fast, causing problems (I lost a good pair of portapros to this), and I want to know: Is there something I can apply to the rubber to restore the moisture in the rubber, restoring its flexibility? -
Terminator Salvation, colon, Really Long Movie Title

I'd just like to point out one thing: Skynet MUST create time travel, or it won't exist. One of the ironies of the first movie is that Skynet and John Conner created each other. If Skynet doesn't send back the terminator, then John doesn't send back Kyle. Thus Kyle doesn't woo Sarah, and Skynet doesn't leave behind a broken T-800 for Cyberdyne. From the point of view of the first movie, all John has to do to save the future is to shoot Kyle at first opportunity. Gotta love paradoxes! -
Terminator Salvation, colon, Really Long Movie Title

As an action movie, it was OK. As a terminator movie... Well, let's just say I consider T2 to be the last terminator movie. Personally, I would have cut out about a 1/2 hour out of the movie, just for pacing issues. -
Well, Admirals do have that power... Besides, this is Scotty before he became the Miracle Worker. He did save the ship in the end of the film, so he's growing into the reputation. Besides, he gave his secret of how he's a miracle worker away in Star Trek 3. He just overinflates his repair-time estimates! Oh, and yes, I saw the movie. In IMAX no less. It was 2 hours of mega win and stupid amounts of awesome!

Minutes? I could do it in seconds! Awesome article!

What, no F-14? It would be the most awesome candy if it had F-14 gummies! In fact, it would be so awesome, there would be a warning label on the package warning about how awesome it is!

Is it me, or does this episode seem to be out of place. I mean, what happened to Sari at the end of transwarped????

Wow. Just wow. What an ending... -
Must be a big hit at the airshow, that and at the base's pool too. It's a pretty standard bollywood short David. I've seen a few as part of a Modern Indian Literature course I took in university. They're great fun to watch. Long though.

A small update to my F-22. Work has kept me from the bench... Keep in mind that this panel is not very big. Had to pull out the macro lens to get this close.

One last question regarding replacement batteries: Is there a place online where I can get good lithium ion or lithium polymer batteries? I'd rather not get another cheap battery that'll go south sooner than it should. -

Thanks for the replies. Bigger better battery (if possible) it is! Heck, I might even be able to watch Ben-Hur on a single charge if I'm lucky! -

Quick question: I have a portable DVD player whose battery has crapped out, and I'd like to replace the battery. My question is, should I get a battery that matches the original battery's stats (7.4 volts 2000mAh) or could I get something that outputs the same volts, but has a higher mAh rating? Will I damage the player, or the battery if I try to use the stock charger? Originally the battery lasted 2.5 hours or so, now it's down to 15-20 minutes... And I've only recently started to use the battery on a regular basis, before it was always plugged into the wall. -

I've got a nasty theory as to what Boomer really did with Hera: Overall though, a really, really good episode. -
You forgot the nasty detail that the original engines also didn't like having sudden throttle changes. Go from low power to high power in one swoop and you'll have double engine fires! Fun!

If I had the money, time, patience, and most importantly, a pilot's license, I'd get this in a heart beat. My own personal FW-190. I can always pretend that the cannons are real...

True. But I like them better when they're not broken.
