  1. The Max fig was the next up....was set for Dec 2024, but KC hasn't met release dates in quite a while....I will wait until end of January until I feel I need to reach out to them for an update....
  2. Yeah...been saying this on previous posts....they must have some rock bottom ROI figure that they use to determine if a show was "good enough" financially...the advertisers must also have their criteria for wether or not to toss ad dollars to a show....the less eyes on a show, the lowrr the ad revenues....so so that is another thing to follow...D+'s ad revenues....if the go lower it means no one is watching...no matter how "good" some may think a show is....sadly, everything I have seen seems to indicate that the viewership numbers for Pirates of the Outer Rim are unfortunately lower than The Acolyte....a certified stinker and proven loser straight from D+'s bean counters!
  3. Realy?....have a link where this show has been "consistently" in the top 10? Everything I read seems to say it was at the 15th spot at best....
  4. https://www.jeditemplearchives.com/2025-01-10-the-new-streaming-charts-for-skeleton-crew/ https://thatparkplace.com/skeleton-crew-star-wars-lowest-ratings/ I guess if D+ "non-ad" subscriptions are a significant majority....maybe? We still cannot say that the show will not tie "somehow" into the Mandoverse or ST....patience padawans!
  5. Cut and paste storytelling for sure...still, it seems like many are satisfied with this latest ultra derivative D+SW show similar to how sometimes it is more about the road trip than the actual destination....these shows excel at this....just a series of "cool stuff" happening before getting to the end....
  6. What's with secret maps and hidden planets in Star Wars?....D+ Star Wars has hit rock bottom when they have resorted to ripping off concepts from their much trashed Sequel Trilogy.... Secret maps were used in TFA and again in TROS....hidden planets were a specialty of the Sith up until Pirates of the Outer Rim....again, no idea if these concepts had already been lifted from the EU....
  7. Well....may as well go all-out slapstick comedy at this point then....but has there been any D+ Star Wars show so far that did not have delusions of grandeur for a second season? Disney probably wants their Stranger Things too!
  8. And after all the fake mysteries....we are presented with one final mystery.....what do the idiots on At Attic get privy to once they "graduate"? What can possibly be that interesting to take a chance by even adding one final mystery at the 11th hour?...the payoff has to be pretty big, right? As Grand Moff Tarkin would say....D+ is taking an awful risk...
  9. So you want this to degrade into Space Home Alone? I mean...sure....why not, Disney owns that IP too, so may as well pillage it dry!
  10. It's like Luke Skywalker (Force user) and Han Solo (scoundrel) had a baby! Surprised they didn't come up with this type of character before....but then again, I have no idea if such a Jedi Scoundrel exists in the EU....
  11. Kind of annoying, actually.... How, as Jod says, "...weak, sheltered, and spoiled..." kids have been able to evade and outsmart a crew of vicious Space Pirates....but I guess that gets a pass by folks looking for something that is slightly better that the worst D+ Star Wars has to offer.... And speaking of weak, sheltered, and spoiled kids....sure sounds like something a disillusioned former "weak, sheltered, and spoiled" padawan might say....guess we'll find out next week...
  12. There are more than enough force users of questionable repute walking around during this era.....anything can happen....as long as it leads to TROS! LOL
  13. They really leaned hard on the ROTS references on this latest episode.....Last time we saw a grown ass force user threaten "younglings"....things didn't end well for either.... Guessing another flashback showing Jack Sparrow narrowly escaping Order 66....wonder if they'll toss in another fanservice nod by showing us a somewhat familiar Jedi as his master....like they did when they showed Grogu's rescue from Order 66....
  14. Referring to this....
  15. Did Noel ever disclose the reason why BW would not grant his company a license for the Macross Zero F-14? It would be interesting if BW and HG were already in talks about their deal during this time and maybe it was HG who may have been involved with rejecting any licensing requests to products intended for sale outside of Japan...regardless of which series it was from....
  16. It's interesting that ThreeZero opted not to use the Japanese Macross logos anywhere in their VF-1 releases.....it seems like something that would be done if trying to possibly differentiate releases between Japan and outside of Japan.... If that is their plan, they were smart to release the "Robotech" versions first as I know I would have went with the "Macross" versions instead...
  17. I guess that means they have started producing again, at least to fulfill more paid orders.... My only concern now is that this second run is being financed by the funds from the recent kickstarter.....guess we won't really know until March to see if their proposed 2025 release schedule will be adhered to....
  18. If only that was the case.... Based on how the BW license has been granted since 1982....no company that is not Japanese has ever held a long term BW Macross license....since BW has forsaken the SDFM license due to HG's continued stranglehold on all things SDFM TV....it is unlikely that anyone will be able to get a BW license for SDFM and by default....DYRL outside of Japan...is it possible? In theory yes, but in practice for the last 40 years....probably not....especially now that a legal agreement is actually in place between BW and HG..... In the past, HG seemed to have had no issues granting licenses to companies looking to release DYRL based toys and paint schemes....that no longer seems to be something that HG is willing to allow....I had asked KC about DYRL schemes VFs...but they said they could not...I did not press as to why they could not, but it probably has to do with the new BW-HG deal...
  19. Other than limited day licenses for hobby shows/events....BW doesn't appear to grant licenses for non-Japanese merch companies...would be interested to know why...cost? Or some other reason....
  20. Nah....bottomline is that apparantly no one without a BW license (HG license only) can release DYRL toys anymore....Otherwise KC would definitely have done it by now...
  21. These, like The KC VFs, have a ton of tampo....there would be changes to that as well to distinguish between TV and DYRL....it would be interesting though...unlike the KCs....the ThreeZero VFs seem to purposefully not include the "Macross" logos....so maybe ThreeZero is trying to suck up to BW to be allowed to release Japan-only versions...lol
  22. Will probably get the "weathered" version too...
  23. It's Robotech so no DYRL versions
