Except it's not....it still leads to the Emperor somehow coming back in TROS.....there has been NO Star Wars not tied somehow towards the events in the Skywalker Saga.... Rey is supposedly coming out with one....but she is a Skywalker now...lol

If you believe the Bandai DX is the next step in the evolution of the Yamato 1/60 VF-1 but in 1/48 form, then the ThreeZero is the evolution of the Yamato 1/60 in the same scale...more or less... If you do not think the 'DX' is that much better than the old Yamato 1/60 VF-1, then it probably makes sense to wait another 10 years or so for the next 'VF-1' from whoever decides to update it....or maybe wait for a Black Friday sale!
-
Yeah, unless you have earned points, there usually aren't any deals to be had on books....if you order via Amazon they have the 'price match' guarantee...but not sure how well that works out for books...
-
After 4 months of handling....this ThreeZero VF-1 is as solid as the first day I received it... It has grown on me and look forward to adding more....I have even gotten used to the bulbous noggin...lol The VF-1S head may take a bit longer to like....but who knows, may look better in-hand...

So far looks like just one version....it's "oversized" because it is 288 pages....so slightly more pages than the Macross Variable Fighter Designer Note....and that was a pretty thick book....until we got Kawamori's Macross Designer's Note which came in at a whopping 624 pages! If this Mikimoto book is truly ALL MACROSS....it will be epic...

★Kadokawa Store Bonus★ A booklet is included as a bonus. Could this be the same bonus offered directly from the Kadokawa site? If so...would explain the higher price that Yoyakunow has listed it for....proxy fee?

My Macross beer goggles just cracked....

This is an example of the worst things that can happen when the best part of Macross is not allowed to exist outside of Japan... Rejoice Robotech fans!

I was able to add it to my Buyee cart via their browser extension....if that doesn't work you can always just manually put in a store order on the Buyee site
-
Yes....however, it would appear the wait may have been worth it as this now appears to be a way bigger and more expensive book!
-
Just placed my order from Kadokawa via Buyee....thanks for the heads up....too bad it won't release until next year
-
Well....the last time we had a definite release date was over 8 years(?) ago...then it kept getting rescheduled.....Hopefully this is not the same.... Will go for the freebie book order unless any other shop does their own freebie...then may need to order duplicates! LOL
