I believe you own all 10 of the Hiroshima releases....is issue 10 (VF-4) a previously used cover from the regular release or somewhat different? I figured we would at least get 20 new Tenjin illustrated covers (plus the 9 or 10 from the Hiroshima release)... Thanks for the info... BTW...looks like some nice freebies with a subscription....

Wonder if it will re-use any of the Tenjin covers or just go with all new ones? All new covers would be one good reason to pick them up again.

.....at the moment that is what I have to do.....and when/if the English-subbed BD set comes out I'll watch that...ok? Not sure why you guys seem opposed to an English-dubbed BD Macross release?

How dare I even think about an English-subtitled BD release of Macross, no one but I apparently would appreciate it.....I guess I just thought I was a Macross fan.....thanks for clearing that up for me Gubs!

The utility of a potential BD set with English subtitles so that I can easily share with friends and family that are not familiar with Macross trumps the arguably better picture quality of the Bandai set....at least for me?

Thanks for that.... I was not aware of the screen "cropping"....Bandai really had their way with both the tv series and movie huh? Wonder if a BD version is in the works from ADV or whoever currently holds the license....crossing fingers, toes and eyes!

Funny....Bandai pre-order windows last 3 minutes or less.....and are sold out Yamato opens up a pre-order window since early July and people are still not able to get their orders in on time?!?! Seems doubtful. Wonder how many third-party online shops dropped their "no cash commitment" orders? To me it sounds more like Yamato trying one last time before the official release date to sell what they have already committed to produce whether pre-sold or not....... They would have been better off (sales-wise) with a FB2012 version FIRST and taking payments upfront......plus all the "talk" about a "possible" FB2012 version next year I'm sure does not help....not sure if this second wave of pre-orders is a "favor" to the fans or a last ditch effort to avoid "clearance pricing" before the FB2012 announcement and ticking everyone off.....
