  2. Added this 3D poster to the collection.......part of the merchandise available for the Macross: The Design Exhibit during September 2012..... But no luck with this one so far....also 3D.........can anyone help me acquire one? This one was available at the Oshare Macross Exhibit in Kyoto during the final days of March 2013
  3. Macross Collecting 101 is now in session....
  4. Nope......dreams must be pre-ordered 6 months in advance and only during half of a standard Bandai pre-order window!
  5. ...or just wait for Arcadia to start re-releasing the valks collectors really want and the remaining VF-19 store stock may see further price cuts???....
  6. Wouldn't you prefer a general, non-web exclusive re-release VF-4G........with "optional parts"?
  7. It's not the Feds you need to worry about....just check with local/State tax laws to see their rules regarding goods purchased abroad.... https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/295/related/1/session/L2F2LzEvc2lkL01jUVpwZnFs/~/state-sales-taxes-on-goods-purchased-overseas-and-brought-back-to-the-u.s. https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/446/related/1/~/state-sales-taxes-on-goods-purchased-overseas-and-brought-back-to-the-u.s. For example, FedEx sends me copies of the bill of lading they provide US Customs (showing declared value)...you can be sure they would supply the same info to your state tax agencies.... With many states in the red on their budgets....this may become more of an issue as they try and find ways to "plug holes"...
  8. The only time it would matter is if your state requests that you declare internet purchases.....and actually enforce this.....if for some reason they decide to audit you....a lower declared value on any shipment would work towards your advantage.....so say the actual value is 1000USD...but you change it to 100USD....the tax (penalty?) would be on 100 rather than 1000...of course an audit would also potentially dig deeper than the declared customs amount and then you would have some explainin' to do!!! It's a gamble, but I just go with actual value.....so far so good....if your state doesn't need you to declare web purchases...then you are fine...otherwise, it depends on how determined they are on cracking down on collecting taxes from web purchases.....yes...even foreign bought items......
  9. The pics are from Toybox DX more stuff there you may not have seen before....http://www.toyboxdx.com/datafiles/data/ohsato/ I own samples of the bottom 2 toys/kits .....but the top 2 have eluded me so far..... ....If anyone has them and would like to sell them, let me know....
  10. That's the Ohsato toy I mentioned...tough to find... ...and also these....which are smaller....
  11. Time to revive the poster thread.... Nichimo "Pitaban World" promo poster.....
  12. I think if you wait you can "win" either way.....
  13. Well, the VF-4 took about a year to develop and release.....whatever Yamato was working on was put on hold due to "going out of business"...so now Arcadia (if it decides to continue the 1/60 PT valk line) has to green-light whatever project was on the drawing board or decide on a new one....we are already 5 months into 2013......so it makes sense that a "repaint" was decided as the "next" release....so, either we will receive some more repaints or, if the "big next project" was considerably on schedule for late 2013 release...then we may get some news on that....either way....DYRL 30th Anniversay is next year....and if they do continue with the line, at minimum we can reasonably expect more DYRL stuff by then.....maybe....
  14. thought that show was for "kits"? Slowly step away from the panic button......
  15. Congrats on a fine job! BTW...what kind of tape do you need to use in order to keep the paint from seeping into the areas you want to keep it out of?...Is it some special hobby tape or something you can pickup at a HomeDepot or hardware store???
  16. The only "toy" I know of with "see-through" details were made by Ohsato toys. However, they were only a few inches tall not a foot tall.
  17. Yamato 1/48 Super VF-1J Stealth Combo set: http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r102172662
  18. LOL...but the batrroid is cool right?...which means if Arcadia makes it you'll buy it anyway.... Agreed, although I like both...the Macross Plus version is the one I would want done first.....if Arcadia does a 1/60 YF-19 V 2.0...maybe they would pair up the release with the VF-14 as an expansion of their Macross Plus line......crossing finger!
  19. Yamato 1/3000 DYRL SDF-1: http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m113371133
  20. Agreed....the green matches the screen capture perfectly....please share the brand of paint used and also the green selected. Great job!
  21. Well....now we definitely know where the inspiration (or lack of) for anniversary valks comes from....GM!!!!
  22. Yamato 1/60 VF-1S Hikaru with Super/Strike Parts Plus+: http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b144829078
  23. Yes, that price is either wrong or the seller is hoping to get "lucky"...... However, this thread is for Macross collectibles that have actually SOLD......absurd listings should be posted here: http://www.macrosswo...ic=18530&page=1
