1/60 has become the defacto scale for Macross perfect transformation toys.... If you really sold off everything, then just head to your online shop of choice and pre-order the VF-1S Hikaru and Roy....plus the new and improved YF-19 from Macross Plus....you can find info about these new Arcadia (new company risen from the ashes of Yamato's bankruptcy) releases on the Toys thread..... It seems that most of the standard VF's will eventually see a re-issue...so it is probably best to wait and see....the high prices for most of Yamato's 1/60 V2 line seem to have calmed a bit....however, there are still a few that command higher prices...but some of those will likely be re-issued by Arcadia.... Good Luck........

This list makes sense for Arcadia if flipped....2 new molds (M0 and M7)...then a repaint....throw in some re-releases (DYRL 30th in 2014, time for a VT-1....some VF-1 variants (Alaska base?) or Hasegawa collaboration repaints in-between new molds.....then three new molds (M7, M3 would be a first)....an armor set (M7 or M3).....a repaint (M7)...a VF-1 variant (Milia's M7 VF-1J)....then two new molds (Macross II in 2017 for the 25th anniversary!!!) Hmmmmmm???

LOL..valid point....what other VF projects new or renewal would equal instant death (aka path towards bankruptcy) for Arcadia at this early stage? Although I hope someday they do get greenlighted...a VF-17T and VF-11MAXL would be disastrous right now....

I hope so too....but not sure how the licensing works....Yamato obviously had rights to produce valks from both Macross 7 and Macross Dynamite 7.....I believe someone mentioned that Arcadia had the Macross 7 license...but does that also include rights to Macross Dynamite 7? With that said....hoping that a VF-5000 and VF-14 come out of those licenses....and a VA-3!!!

Probably would also need to add some new attachment points as the boosters do not seem to attach to the backpack on this particular model.... But, yeah...seems like something Arcadia could easily do.....wonder if their Macross 7 license includes Dynamite variable mecha?.....

They do a good enough job...makes for a busy looking carrier deck.....the accessories I found are made by Hobby Master...and are pre-built...so even better.....oh and the carrier deck is 1/48...also by Hobby Master...

You can probably wait...they will probably re-use the illustration (like they have already done with others) for an upcoming cover. ..

nah...it's legit...and also gone! (not me I promise!)... Maybe it is the incorrect background that is throwing you off.....the cel is original, but the background is not "matching" but looks nice I guess...

So it seems the 30th anniversary Macross party has not run out of steam yet....as we approach 2014.....we can now properly celebrate the 30th anniversary of DYRL... With that said...anyone up for 1/55 Bandai Hi-Metal VE-1, VT-1 and VF-1S Strike (Hikaru and all-new Roy!) re-issues with all new Tenjin box art?

Has Mr. K indicated that the new mold is for a "VF"? Basically, the only VF's that have not been made, in some for or other as PT, are the VF-9, VF-14, varuta valks, Macross II valks, VF-3000, VF-5000 and the VA-3 (dang, we are so close).....unless they somehow managed to score the license for Macross Frontier (doubtful).... Whatever it is...it has to be something that will sell and most people will want in their collection......they can't one-up themselves into BK just yet......
