  1. this pic is the best effort I have seen at "making" the battroid legs and waist look "normal".....but the head still looks huge!!! I get the feeling that Bandai will pull a "Frontier DX Renewal" move all over again....it will probably "redo" this kit in a 1/48 scale and perhaps release it as a fully-built "HCM" 21st century update or simply release it as a DX toy...
  2. Well...they do make creepy angelphilia dolls..... So maybe a Sheryl "wedding dress" edition?
  3. Good idea....however, it will not let me delete the votes..... So either a MOD needs to go in and delete all existing votes...or everyone can go back in and delete your current vote and recast it.... So we know the 30th VF-1 is first, the YF-19 2.0 is next....what do you want to be third??? Have fun with it.....
  4. 1/60 Yamato Zentran outfit for VF-1 Yamato online shop exclusive - used http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w88472205
  5. Issue 27.... http://deagostini.jp/mcr/backnumber.php?id=38505&issue=27
  6. Know the original Jetfire toy from the 80's?....That was based off of the original Macross perfect transformation toy from the early 80's sold by Takatoku Toys.... This site is probably the best for showcasing the original Takatoku Macross line from the early 80's (BTW, Takatoku went out of business by 1984): http://www.toyboxdx.com/datafiles/data/takatoku2/macross1.php Flash forward 3 decades and you find Yamato...the company that resurrected the Macross perfect transformation valkyrie and arguably mastered their design and production (Incidentally, Yamato also went out of business....see a pattern?...actually, they have risen once again from the ashes as Arcadia....it is widely anticipated that they will continue the line where Yamato left off)....this is the best site to find out everything you would want to know about Yamato Macross toys... http://anymoon.com/blog/ Also...Bandai has always been there producing Macross toys here and there...but only until recently, have they paid more attention to their Macross licenses....you can also find out info about Bandai Macross toys on the Anymoon website...... Welcome to Macross collecting.......it's gonna be a wild ride!
  7. It's the Macross 30 official site....it's all in there you just need to do a little work..... Also...not sure if these have been posted..... Found on this blog....http://sapphire77.exblog.jp/18008484/

  9. Yamato 1/60 VT-1 Super Ostrich - http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h178349757
  10. Yes, it is official...I really do not know much about it...other than it is from Bandai and came out when DYRL was released (I think).... Not sure if it was a "game prize", mail-away or something sold at stores at the time....only a couple of other MW members have one...so maybe they can elaborate...I am surprised more do not surface for sale....maybe not many were produced....
  11. lol.....or how "generous" the brunette wife turns out to be after the "I do's"? : p
  12. ...but keep the blonde gf?
  13. Most adorable and rare Macross collectible....SOLD!!!!!! http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d144824281
  14. gentlemen prefer blondes?
  15. kinda liking the poster with all the valks on it rather than the one with the Tenjin VF-1 cockpit (nice too, but...).....is that one also for sale?
  16. So this won't become sort of a "travelling" exhibit like the Gengaten ones?
  17. At the risk of getting rotten tomatoes flung at me across the internets....I Hope there is more to the Macross "museum" than Yamato valks......I know they are popular and people were panic buying them and all.....but you can go to so many sites including Macross World to view much more inventive "displays"..... Hope there is more original artwork, cels, paintings, vintage toys, books, posters, etc........oh....wait.....isn't that the typical MW Con?
  18. the Macross the Design stuff should be new...at least to this magazine....
  19. New low for a used VF-4G...plus the guy threw in a Yamato stand! Yamato 1/60 VF-4G: http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k167237041
  20. Yep....Considering how many were actually made and how many ever make it to market, I'd say that it sold for a fair US Market Price (after adding shipping and proxy fees)... If anyone is interested, there is one up on YJA..... http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b145992742
