I wish for Arcadia to try out a different way of selling/selecting what to produce.... I think they should adopt a model like that of a subscription service/build to order. On their site they would present 2-3 different VFs or other mecha from the show....along with a price tier showing what the price would be based on the number of orders received. The "down payment" would be non-refundable. Only the models with the highest votes/advance payments would get green-lighted. Those that do not, would be bumped and included on future "online voting" offerings...to give them another chance to see production. In this manner, they would minimize the risk of losing their money with buyers that flake out when it comes time to pay for "pre-orders". Maybe they could sweeten the deal by adding special options or accessories to their toys for those that fully commit to full payment in advance. Who knows...all I know is whatever system they are currently using that says re-releasing a VF-19 Kai with gold accents is a good idea....needs to be scrapped!

Just remembered.....there is probably also a difference in the cockpit canopies between TV and DYRL...but that also goes for all VF-1 types....

just the hands....it is animated both with and without the grey visor on the TV show...but just with grey visor on film version....unless the grey visor is part of the GBP setup???

Thanks. I was thinking of upgrading the frame for this pencil sketch to something nicer and more professional looking...... ....but just haven't gotten around to finding out what it would cost...maybe I'll stop by the local Michael's this week...thanks for the info!

Like it or not...it's still Macross! Check out this site for more info on the mecha designs seen on Macross II: http://macross2.net/m3/macross2/macross2-index.html In short, Macross II is an alternate universe story based on events after Macross: DYRL...which also leads to the other storyline that happens to include Macross Plus, Macross 7, Macross Frontier.... Actually, as of this minute, I believe it's been said that every Macross series is an alternate universe in itself......confused? Don't be....just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!

Thanks! BTW....is there any info that states whether the Protoculture created humans in the image of the Zentradi and Meltrandi (not the Protoculture themselves)...if so, why do the Zolans "look" different? Are they not also results of Protoculture manipulation? I am wondering if they "planted the seed" sort of how it was insinuated in the film "Prometheus"....and the resulting life form develops based on the planet's environment....I'm only guessing (unless it has been specifically pointed out in Macross Chronicle or somewhere else) that the Protoculture were human-like, but not exactly the same.....

Maybe Arcadia should consider the Metal Siren!!! Perhaps it would have some Gundam customer spillover effect for added sales!
