They should have started with the smaller/lower priced versions...another dumb move from toynami... But at least this one is still coming right?...Right?!?
-
thought the reason for the expense was the limited run and non-traditional nature of the materials used.....I do not think a non-transforming toy version made with the same plastics used for the rest of their line would cost more than the limited HDP kit.......
-
A lot of the Regult toys are not 1/60 scale....
-
Excellent point....the majority of their customer base is interested in competed toys not kits.....
-
submit a second survey showing customers want more than just VF-1 repaints??? Wonder how much of the sentiment goes back to their bad decision for selecting the Q-rau as their initial enemy mech offering.....pretty sure a regult would have sold better
-
Actually that is a really good idea....All three different missile packs in one box....that way you satisfy the guys that can make do with just one regult....but also sell multiples to those that want to display all three different versions..... Additionally, if Arcadia decides to not create the scout version...I am sure someone here would make the conversion parts for it.... And Arcadia can pack it like this to keep the size of the box at a minimum:

A completed Arcadia toy version would not look any better....great job! Arcadia really needs to release this as a completed toy....they can squeeze at least 3 separate releases out of it without too much trouble (or be nice and include the missle attachments as swappable add-ons).....heck even Toynami was able to do that! Someone needs to send these pics to Mr. K immediately....

Would that make the VF-19Kai a VF-19Ken?

The "look what I just scored" thread is now at 14 pages....so answer is still "nope"...

EXO was working on a 1/3000 Prometheus and Daedelus.......pretty much all that was needed to convert the DYRL SDF-1 into a MtF version....

...regarding SAVE's interview/meeting with Arcadia....will there be any follow-up with them regarding the proposed fan survey that was mentioned? It was great to hear that the opinions/wants of Arcadia's foreign customers actually mattered to them.....
-
Well...based on the current choices...it's turning more into a "What Hasegawa VF-1 collaboration do you want next from Arcadia"..... .......not sure if that is what Arcadia wants to do though....wouldn't that mean they would need to pay double the normal licensing fees..... to BW........and Hasegawa?

Is this "request" based on some new twitter post...or based on what was mentioned on the latest MW podcast? If based on the podcast...I thought the idea was to find out what valks (and other stuff) fans were interested in Arcadia producing....not necessarily just VF-1 repaints..... Also...how long will you be soliciting responses...maybe a cut-off date is needed? With that said and in no particular order/preference.... VF-1 based repaints: 1) Alaska Base VF-1A 2) VEFR-1 3) VT-1C 4) VF-1J Milia (Macross 7) 5) SDP-1 VF wish list: 1) VF-9 2) VF-14 (M7/M+) 3) Fz-109 A/F 4) VF-5000 (D7) 5) VA-3C (D7) Runner's up: 6) VF-11MAXL 7) VF-17T VF-X-4 9) VF-0D 10) VF-3000 BUT HONESTLY....MOST WANTED MACROSS PT TOY: SDF-1 TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....if Arcadia produces just the top 5 vote-getters alone...that's over 1000 USD MSRP from each valk super-fan.........hope they are paying attention....
-
The last MW podcast mentioned Arcadia's interest in what foreign customers were interested in from them....I think if we ever want to see stuff like the Alaska Base VF-1A and other more obscure valks....we need to either get them to read our various wish list threads and polls or formalize something to them.....maybe startup a new thread with top five fan-choice valks and them total up everyone's votes and send the list to Arcadia of the biggest vote-getters?

I've seen that music box on YJA but kept myself from bidding on it....very unique collectibles.... Nice stuff Akim...thanks for posting.... You ever find those DYRL postcards?
-
generally if it is something new and still found on online shops and not just via auction...I'd say close to original MSRP as possible...so about 110 USD?
-
Sure EMS will track it...but you are SOL if the package gets damaged and the contents are worth more than the default insurance amount.... I believe barrutor is concerned about customs fees in his country...and those are tied to the value declaration...which most likely has to coincide with the insured value.... (kind of a non-issue for us here in the USA...we don't get hit with customs fees....at least for the moment.....the only extra cost when shipping/importing our stuff is the cost associated with extra insurance if we want it). If he wants to declare a low value to avoid the customs fees...he may be in trouble if his stuff ends up lost or severely damaged due to the corresponding lowered insurance coverage amount..... Again...it's ultimately all based on how much risk you are willing to take.....
-
thanks for posting...very nice artwork! Check your PM....
-
Probably....10+ valks is easily more than 1000 USD based on recent YJA prices.......I guess you have to ask how trustworthy is your country's mail delivery system.....I personally would not even trust the US Postal Service! For that amount I usually go with FedEx....not sure if you have that option Perhaps it is best/safer to just swallow the additional shipping cost and spread out the packages with 2-3 at a time? Again, it all depends on how reputable the local postal system is in any given country. Good Luck!

Thanks for posting those...I have seen all of them before except the "Mechanical Weapon".... Can you post some sample content?
-
Is the insured value based on the declared value?....in other words, if your items get lost or stolen...do you receive the declared value as compensation or can the insured value be different? I would assume they both need to be the same....with that said....it all depends on your level of risk aversion....personally, I want to be fully compensated for any losses to my shipments
