Not sure about this advice. The release of the Arcadia VF-1S Roy and Hikaru (bright white) has had a negligible effect on the market value of the previously released 30th VF-1S Roy and Hikaru. They too were re-colors....and arguably more popular than the VF-19 Kai. I think this "re-color" trick has been played-out once too many times by Arcadia. One scenario that I can see happening is the potential rise in value of this new Kai...if...it is released in extremely limited numbers (kind of like the weathered VFs for Roy, Hikaru, and Max).....if this is the case....we will know pretty soon after it's release.....otherwise, I believe the existing "stock' of original Kai's may actually have a downward effect on the new Kai.....perhaps up to the point of seeing it as "sale" fodder by year's end......

If you are in USA....probably not. So did they charge you extra for the insurance? They are probably making a killing on the sale....they probably paid the poor schmuck who brought it in half of what they are selling it for....so they should be able to cover any extra charges for you... Hope it arrives safely!

With the confirmed release of the 1/60 FB set....perhaps there is renewed hope for the sound bazooka (plus other unproduced Yamato stuff)? If so, I hope it is a web exclusive and they pack in the 1/60 FB set (even though that now seems less likely than a stand alone sound bazooka release... ) And with that said....if anyone buys the new VF-19 Kai set and does not want the 1/60 FB set...PM me...I'll take them!

Luckily I have another one waiting in my PW at HLJ..... However, this nonsense from NY is really bad....their shenanigans have reached a new low.....the only reason folks continue to "play their game" is simply because their reliability was so far perfect...and so I guess the extra amounts they charged compared to other sites was something that could be rationalized. Now that their "system" seems to have failed....it is personally time for me to re-evaluate them as a retailer I can rely on for my Macross purchases. So basically, they had become my go-to for web exclusives.....what retailer should I be looking at going forward?

About as "Big West" friendly as other custom creations produced and sold by other members on this site.....wouldn't you say? I don't believe I have ever seen this question posed to any of them before... These entrepeneurs all fill a product void......more power to them I say!
