The pink-hue is most notable in the first pic. The problem is most collectors will display their collection using indoor lighting....which seems to be the most unforgiving when it comes to Arcadia's plastics. The only situation you'd want to use natural lighting is perhaps for a quick photo shoot or if you prefer yellowed plastic more than pink-hued over the long run....

I can see this selling out and doubling in value one year or less after release. Valk completists....you've been warned!
-
....and with Arcadia suffering from pinkish white plastic....may as well make it a pink pecker edition!

Someone needs to add a poll to this topic.... Planning on buying it? 1) Yes! As is! 2) Only if they make enough fixes to warrant the sticker price! 3) Only if the production version is line art perfection! 4) What's Macross II?
-
Maybe...Maybe not..... Practically everything in this "teaser" pic has come to pass...or had been announced by Yamato before they went away.....

Macross Δ (Delta) - announcement thread

interesting...so I wonder where Bandai is in the toy development process? Wonder when we start getting some images? Hope the new series does not derail/cancel the Hi-metal line!- 2715 replies

The visor grey is too light...doesn't match the intakes! The pink-ish white is spot on though and will look well with the Arcadia VF-1S's....
-
If they are still going by that old teaser pic from the Yamato days....we may see reissues of the Max and Milia -1J's next....with the new mold being a Battle 7... I'm still hoping for a TV SDF-1...
-
The latest Japanese release of DYRL also "edits" some violent content...
-
Guess all evidence of grey goggles was removed from the box! Wonder if they'll pull similar nonsense if they reissue the max and milia -1J's... Well, at least Bandai seems to know what they're doing...

Tenjin did the box art? Didn't think it was when I saw it. The news keeps getting better on this line!

Although I really enjoyed this chapter of the Mad Max franchise....I left thinking it was just The Road Warrior: Special Edition....

Wow...... seriously? I've always hoped Bandai would re-issue the classic Hi-Metal 1/55....but I'll settle for these.... Genius move..... So what's left to do at this scale for a complete DYRL set?? VF-1S Max? Q-Raus....N-Ger?

Bandai continuing to impress....everything looks like an instabuy for me so far.... So does that tiny hatch on the Spartan look like it opens?

Must be that high licensing fee they are paying BigWest!!!!
-
Agreed. I may have grabbed all of them if they had sold the armors separately as well. At that price I might be tempted in the Roy at some later date.....like during a clearance...

Truly Super Dimensional!!! Looking forward to the completed works!
-
Beginning with yours... Destroids, Regults and Glaugs don't transform......so I think it's reasonable to expect Bandai to deliver at a price point below that of their VF Hi-Metal toys...even including a few cool "gimmicks"...I also don't think adding Destroid pilots will price out anyone....

Don't want to take credit for the OPs "dream".... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=41926&p=1199167 ...but I support "big dreamers"....nothing great would ever come from supporting the small thinkers, preservers of the status quo, or run-of-the mill naysayers......
