  1. On behalf of Shukenzero.....
  2. yes, all the Sound Force valks have faces....don't know why...but they do....as for the rest of the valks in M7...they do not....they are just like any other VF...it is the "head" of a battroid that is meant to be humanoid in shape...to fight giant humanoid aliens I guess.....but they do not have facial features like those on the sound force VFs: eyes, noses, mouths..... As for the -22...I thought it was based off of the Quadeluun Rau....
  3. It was just the three valks assigned to the members of Sound Force that received "faces".... the rest were "faceless" and in-line with "regular" VF "heads" seen in previous Macross series'..... ...even the "jamming birds" VF-11 didn't get a "face"....
  4. I think if Yamato would have released the VF-11 MAXL first, we may never have seen a VF-19 Kai.....kind of how releasing the DYRL Quadeluun Rau killed any desire for Yamato/Arcadia in releasing anymore enemy mechs..... Look how "well" the re-release of the Kai "gold edition" set is warming shelves on practically all Japanese webstore sites.... If Arcadia wants to do well on a unique release like the VF-11 MAXL it needs to tweak it's "made-to-order" business plan to be more "kickstarter-like".....it gets built if enough people pay to have it built.... Or just wait for some 3P to make it!!!
  5. But Mylene's VF-11 MAXL is the ultimate realization of both of your listed interests!!! You know you want it......
  6. The product of the unholy union between Gingerbread man and Gumby...........
  7. I'd like to see a pic of the production figs posed like the promo fig pic...just to compare...
  8. Being the only thing I am interested from this release....are the figures painted as nicely as the ones used for promoting them?Looking at the pic you posted....the Mylene fig would indicate they are not...
  9. http://www.taghobby.com/1-0/1-1/%E9%9D%9A%E5%9C%96%E5%87%BA%E5%A0%B4-q%E7%89%88%E7%8E%A9%E5%85%B7-%E3%80%8A%E8%B6%85%E6%99%82%E7%A9%BA%E8%A6%81%E5%A1%9E-%E5%8F%AF%E6%9B%BE%E8%A8%98%E8%B5%B7%E6%84%9B%E3%80%8B-sdf-1-macross/
  10. That'll do....I assume these items can only be purchased at the event? If so, if anyone plans to attend...can you pick me up a Gubaba mini plushie? PM me....Thanks!
  11. Hope they release a 1:1 Gubaba plushie as part of the 20th M7 events!
  12. Bah!!! Those hacks at Yamato stole the color scheme from Takatoku!
  13. I think it was 20% off for the YF-19 during last year's Black Friday sale....it was a pleasant surprise....just pre-order it when it becomes available...then re-buy it at the BF price and dump the higher priced pre-orders..... Yes....I would like to just buy just the Fire Bomber figurines if I could...I'm pretty sure someone will make them available...probably get the most for them on eBay or YJA...so save yourself the ebay and paypal selling fees and sell them to me!!!!
  14. Even at it's probable 50% off sale....that's still $150+ for a set of 4 figurines........ The HLJ Black Friday VF-0D sale on the other hand.......
  15. Takatoku VF-1S mini sofubi...184.50 USD plus shipping http://www.ebay.com/itm/1980s-MACROSS-TAKATOKU-5-034-VF-1S-Valkyrie-Vinyl-Robotech-POPY-BULLMARK-GODAIKIN-/331322798769?nma=true&si=WlSjTlFumW1hM6ELrJafjvevjjk%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Hard core Macross collecting...anyone here get it? Congrats!...that is about as rare as it gets when it comes to Takatoku or Macross collecting in general...
  16. In an alternate universe, we just shelled out $800 for a 1/48 YF-19 and are eagerly awaiting the return of the improved 1/48 Macross Zero line, beginning with the VF-0D, along with the much anticipated re-release of the 1/48 VT-1 Super Ostrich...with fixed BP-8!!!
  17. Thanks for the reply...I only collect Macross and this will be my first "mass produced" 3P product.......based on the pics alone, it sort of has a Bandai look to the plastic but also a Yamato/Arcadia aesthetic, in terms of just the right amount of paint application/tampo printing...as opposed to Bandai's sometimes "over the top" application of detail. Ironically, this little guy seems better painted/detailed than the Yamato 1/3000 DYRL SDF-1, which essentially was just the kit put together for you by Yamato.
