I think the color choice of the arrows is worse than the retention of the skull and kite emblems.......looks almost orange

If Arcadia did that....we'd have VF-4, Max & Milia VF-1J and VT-1 re-issues by now.....instead of a golden-accented VF-19 Kai....

They are made by CMs Corporation...starting in 2003 or so...there were about 4 sets made I believe...very nice figures... The Max VF pilot figure is probably the most expensive...it was a chase figure when first released.... ....lack of "certification" does not seem to keep these items from selling in the thousands....wish it did...I'd be able to rationalize adding a few more into my Macross collection....

Arcadia needs a winner in 2015.....Still hoping for an SDF-1 TV...but maybe they will surprise us with some Macross II love....

meh....the VF-4 will return some day.... I'd be curious to know if it were to return as a FB2012 edition....would it tank the VF-4G VFX market price or will it hold it's value? I'm guessing you'd see VFX versions flooding the market....it's funny how that did not happen with the VF-19 golden kai....

Looks like an example of a few collectors trying to plug in that final hole in their collection for the Max....if anyone has a Max they want to sell....now would be the time....you have at least 3 potential high paying customers....with box you may even get more! Or maybe it's the holidays making people bid more than they would any other time....

The box design, if that is the final design, looks way better than anything they have done in the past....I guess if they cannot afford to pay Tenjin for an original illustration (or don't want to pass on the cost)...they may as well try their best to emulate it....

I think what Mommar is trying to say is that the color scheme of the VF-1A TV Max does not work well with an almost entirely blue VF-1J head.....to make it work (aesthetically) the "blue" MtF head would need to be placed onto a VF-1J Max.... Similarly, I think the MtF head as designed by Tenjin and brought to life in 3D by Kurisama...would look good with a blue stripe on the head and blue scheme (where red exists now) for the rest of the battroid....maybe someone with Adobe photoshop skills can do that with this pic....
