  1. Arcadia is pretty clever...just when you thought you could opt out on the whole "new" VF-0 line...now you need to at least get the VF-0S so you can properly display a VF-0 with PWS-0X...hoping they get the colors right and release a combo pack!
  2. Here it is next to a V1 1/60 VF-1J with GBP armor....I'd say the Toynami is closer to the "bruiser" look of the Yamato V1 GBP than the V2.... ....I think the worst part of the Toynami GBP (besides the price) is the nosecone armor piece....it basically just covers the front half.....it looks like they could have made a piece to fit the back, but they opted not to.....
  3. http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n146708697 I think you'll see these on ebay for double the price pretty soon based on the high bidder...
  4. Too bad Mandarake no longer lists any Macross cels for direct sale....they all get posted for auction....it's been years since I've seen any listed in their mailorder section... This is more appropriate I think.... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=41093
  5. Toynami 2015 SDCC edition GBP-1J.....
  6. Yamato 1/60 VF-4G..used..............70,000 JPY http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w123207323
  7. Sure, I'll try and dig it out. I'm guessing it's was probably printed by the film's distributor....Toho?
  8. Thanks...good to know!
  9. Evolution Toy's gimmick is the use of magnets...it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to imagine that they would somehow incorporate the use of magnets into their VF-2SS....possibly with the attachment of the SAP armor at some point....would help explain the lack of visible attachment points....
  10. It makes perfect sense.....as I said..."if you value the engineering that goes into the toy more so than the "general look of the toy"...then this is probably not for you... In other words, it's close enough that folks who have been wanting a VF-2SS for years will be more forgiving about its flaws.....folks like yourself who are more interested in line art accuracy will just need to keep waiting.....
  11. Macross the First promo poster.....Misa
  12. They seem to come up with some nice pricy stuff from time to time....I'm guessing they must have access to a Japanese supply or several...
  13. So does the Anime Link site include everything they "potentially" have in stock? Or do they have cels that never end up getting listed?
  14. The reason is simple...it's never been attempted by anyone before....and perhaps never again....you need to be a fan of the design first to understand....if you value the engineering that goes into the toy more so than the "general look of the toy"...then this is probably not for you....best to wait for a better version
  15. AE lists a "deadline" date....so is this being built to order or can it potentially close sooner?
  16. Don't have it easily available...but going to guess about 10 in x 24 in
  17. If you "supported" Arcadia when they re-started the 1/60 VF line with the awful Aniversario....and then bought from them yet another set of Hikaru and Roy -1S's "pinkish edition"....then you need to support this if you can...150 USD at AE shouldn't break the bank.....
  18. Hmmmmm....will the pre-order last thru black friday at HLJ?
  19. Yamato 1/60 Zentradi uniform new - 61,000 jpy http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f155978113
  20. Which one?
  21. Yes....post #286 contains pics for the soft cover books....they are not the same but do contain some of the same artwork from the hardcover books....
  22. The price/market value of the Bandai VF-19 Advance can only go so high due to the existence/MSRP price of the Arcadia YF-19....the Arcadia YF-19's market price has hit a brick wall ever since the Bandai VF-19 Advance was released....and it is shrinking back down closer to MSRP.... There is only one company so far doing VF-25 -anything......and they will not be re-releasing the VF-25S in particular anytime soon......... Pay for it now while the price is close to MSRP...or pay for it later!
