Why? Here's why.... http://www.collectiondx.com/toy_review/2001/big_scale_yamato How much would the MSRP be if Arcadia supplied us with the same end product?

Even if it does not transform this is a must buy for me.....the fact that no one has released it in 1/3000 scale might mean some company may already have that scale locked via BW... A Bandai DX 1/3000 scale can't be too far away, right?.....

The minmay shogakukan video promo poster and sdf-1 poster fetch alot on YJA...nice additions.... Now you need to get the new Macross Delta promo poster.....it never ends!

Macross Δ (Delta) - announcement thread

So it's officially "Delta" and not just a "provisional" title anymore? Liking the new font being used.- 2715 replies

Not the most flattering image...I think I'd rather spend 35 bucks and get this one...

Guess that's why the R = Respect

The Hi-Metal name is just a nostalgic nod to the days of old when hi-metal actually meant a good amount of metal in Takatoku/Bandai toys....

MW Member Poll: Are you planning to purchase the new Arcadia VF-0S?
jvmacross replied to microtree33's topic in Toys
8. Waiting for news of a possible VF-0S/Armor combo set.....otherwise 1, as it seems the armor will not fit the Yamato VF-0S -
Don't really collect doujins...but this one had Misa on the cover...

This one seems to be priced lower.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Recast-110mm-Macross-DYRL-Robotech-SDF-1-Fully-Variable-Resin-Model-Kit-/301745724730?hash=item4641725d3a

How about a Macross the First version to go with your Macross the First VF-1J.......you'd be the only one on the planet with such a set!
-
This is more DYRL than SDFM.....so making it bright white like the first release would have been wrong....unless they were going for the "anime white" as seen on film....or like the recent Arcadia movie edition VF-1's... The question is if this is too grey even for the fans of more "realistic" colored valks... Personally, I like it....I agree with others that is it more like the old Takatoku in color...that it is old school... R = Respect

Pretty sure you would have no problems selling any of them at those prices

HMR GBP looks closer to the Suzuki art...which IMO is the ultimate depiction of a GBP armored VF-1..well, besides the Takani version... The Yamato/Arcadia GBP armored VF-1 always looked too skinny to me... Non-armored -1J award still goes to Yamato....Arcadia's version is too pinkish to deserve any recognition....
-
Judging from what has been said about it so far....the review would end something like this....
-
Web-exclusive missile parts?....will need three minimum....

If a 1/60 is not possible, I'd like a 1/100 to go with my existing DYRL Hi-Metal and growing Hi-Metal R collection!

Wonder if they can fit in an SDF-1 TV version in the Hi-Metal R line? ......(as long as it is done in 1/3000 scale ) So far Bandai has not seen fit to give the SDF-1 the Chogokin DX treatment....after Hasegawa's blunder...now would be the perfect time for Bandai to take everyone else to school!

A 30 year Takatoku Macross Toy Quest….is Finally Over!
jvmacross replied to jvmacross's topic in Collectors
Thanks Barutor! awesome dedication sounds much better....than obsessive compulsion! Thanks Glane.....yes, at first everything had to be at least free of tears to the box and complete.....as time progressed and the pickings became slimer....I settled for missing accessories or catalogs and such, but the boxes and toy condition still had to be at least very good...absolutely no yellowing.....which is how I ended up "frankensteining" multiple pieces to make one whole complete set....I probably have done that to maybe 4-5 pieces......and it was mainly for better boxes... I have no plans to "upgrade" anything....the only thing that would bring me out of "retirement" would be the uncovering of a new Takatoku Macross toy product...but at this stage, I really do not think there is anything left to find.....Ohsato Toys have become my new "target".....I am missing a few known items from that toy line.... Oh, one thing that I would still collect from Takatoku would be any promotional items.....I already have the promo posters and the mini promo booklets....but I know there must be at least a few more Takatoku Macross-related promotional items out there from back in the day.... So, as far as toys....the hunt is over!
